Baby name help :)

My husband and I are for sure going with the name Beau and middle name is set in stone as Lee. We're just trying to figure out a name that Beau is short for because Beau Lee just doesn't sound right when it's said together..atleast to us. Considered Beauregard and last night hubby suggested Beauman.

Thank you in advance! :)

  • Beauford/Beuford? Google tells me some people take it from Robert!

  • I think there was a recent post about this. I just typed Beau into the search and I was one of the first that came up. Lots of good ideas :) sorry I couldn't attach the link since in mobile.
  • The Beau/Bo's I know are short for William. *shrug*

  • If you plan on calling him Beau just name him Beau, why go and name him something you are not going to call him. As for the middle name, people are not going to go around and call him by first and middle name all the time.  I think that name Beau is cute!  Just my option

Robert is my favorite full name for Beau, I am not a fan of most of the other options. I think it is fine as a stand alone name too, but it is a bit short paired with Lee. I am not crazy about Robert paired with Lee either...so maybe I am no help  I think it could work as a nn for most any B name if you really wanted though.

I thought about that, too. Just don't want him to get made fun of for some reason that his first and middle name don't sound right together. But we were thinking about just telling him that if someone asks what his name is to just say first and last. If they want to know middle name, they'll ask. I rarely use my middle name..only my grandma uses it then sometimes my parents and husband do.

That was considered but my husbands real name is Robert and doesn't want to name him after him lol
  • I went to college with a Beaumont...if we were having a boy Beau would have been our name too...love it!
  • I am a secondary school teacher and I taught a lovely young lad called Beau, it was his full name and not short for anything. I say if you like it go for it and ignore anyone else. As for middle name I think it goes well & don't stress as most people won't know his middle name/won't call him by his middle name anyhow. Xxx
