I'm glad I'm not alone in this. We can't wait to know the sex, my mom and MIL can't wait either, other than that, its an "oh, that's nice" to pretty much everyone else. Gender reveal parties at 14 or so weeks bug me even more because in reality, they aren't as accurate as the already not 100% accurate anatomy scan. Why make it a big party when there's a chance that it's wrong?
I knew I was having a girl at 12 weeks. That's the beauty of getting a blood test. Plus, it's more accurate than an anatomy scan.
