We are trying to find a Greek name for our son that would go along with our extremely Greek last name. My guilty pleasure is Leonitis, Leo for short. I think he would get picked on a lot at school though!

I like the name Nicco! But I know that is super common lol. I lived in Athens for 3 months in college (study abroad, a lot more "living" then "studying" haha). Also, while I like that name all I can think of is My Big Fat Greek WEdding...
The *only* name, girl or boy, that DH has brought up has been...Kaley? Kayleigh? Kayley? However you want to spell that. I don't love it.
@minorfall27 I've gotta ask... Is your DH a Firefly fan?
Hahahaha, nope. I've watched it, he hasn't, actually. I asked him about it last night, and...he doesn't remember suggesting it (this must have been around...2-3 months ago.) and then insisted that it's spelled Kaley, and that any other spelling is "hillbilly spelling". I don't even know what that means.
Oh and for girl names they're all guilty pleasures since I'm gonna have all boys (insert sobbing emoji because I want a daughter). But if I ever do have a girl she'll be Hazel.
Hazel was our #2 if LO is a girl. It lost out to Jade, as DH wasn't completely sold on Hazel.

Lol... My DH is a huge fan, and made me watch it with him on Netflix, so that's the first thing I thought of. Most guys do love that character, and why not? She IS pretty awesome! Even though she spells her name the hillbilly way.
I secretly love the name Clementine, but my husband thinks it's a trendy hipster name. I know it's pretty twee, but I always loved the "Oh my darlin" song when I was little.
If we have a boy, we are most likely naming after a character on one of our favorite TV shows... NCIS:LA. Baby boy would be James Callen after Chris O'Donnell's character on the show, G. Callen. We would call him Callen.
Fox. But I've decided I don't care if it's just a guilty pleasure and kind of out there, I'm going to use it. I was going for Bennett Fox, but I'm just not sure. I can't really find anything that flows with Fox as a first name.
I've wanted a daughter named Adaline since I was little and had a doll with that name. Unfortunately, DH isn't very fond of it, and it's a super popular name around here. There was eleven (!) Aidens in my son's graduating elementary class, that was about 10% of the kids. I wouldn't want a child to deal with that.
DH had his heart set on Seven for a girl, but I vetoed it.
@cmjenkies, my son's name is Declan. I love it, but I'm big into Irish names. All of our kids have an Irish name.
I really like Graham for a boy, but my husband vetoed it. He said it sounds pretentious. I also like Reid, but we have a one syllable last name so it doesn't flow well.
Declan is quite possibly one of my favourite names ever. Of course, my grandfather on back is entirely Irish, so I'm a bit biased.
I have this boy's name picked out even though DH doesn't agree yet. I have a list on my phone and have some names I love that I would NEVER use, but have actually suggested them to see what DH thinks. (He seriously likes nothing, which is why I know my name will eventually stick). Names are Chance, Axel, Pierce (a more serious contender), and Xavier. I actually love Xavier and so does DH but his name is Charles so we just couldn't do that!!!
My family labelled all of DD's Christmas gifts while I was pregnant and we didn't know she was a girl (first grandbaby) as Axel Maxwell Trax__. I love Maxwell, but Max Trax__ is definitely not going to happen.
I've always loved Gideon, but have a friend who is just too close to have it not be weird to use it... and he was in my hormonal pregnancy dream last night, so guilty pleasure now has a whole new meaning.

Pretty sure Kaley is the only way I HAVEN'T seen that spelled

Seven? Like the number?
Yes, like the number. He likes names that are also words and his favorite Star Trek character is Seven of Nine. He was really insistent, but I put my foot down.
I guess my guilty pleasure name for a girl is Hazel. I fell in love with the name after reading The Fault in Our Stars. DH hates it though and shot it down. We agreed on Arya for a girl, which is kind of guilty pleasure from GoT. We're having a boy and using our guilty pleasure name - Archer. Yes we got the idea from the show. But I wouldn't say he's names after archer. People who haven't seen the show love it. Some people who have seen the show think it's weird lol.

I LOVE Archer in the show, he's hilarious... but a total jackass haha, I don't think I could name my kid after him

What show is Archer from? Hazel makes me think of that old show "Hazel" or a rabbit from Watership Down (great book!).

I did several embroidered onesies and burp tags for s baby named Bennett and it was a bug fix theme. Therefore I think Bennett is perfect!

4yo DS is upset because he wants to name baby 'Max.' I love boys names for girls, and Maxine is slowly growing on me. DH isn't crazy about it, but I think it's kind of sweet to let DS have a say in his sister's name.
I want to give baby a fun, earthy (re: hippy) middle name. *My* #1 choice is Althea, after the Grateful Dead song but SO isn't so sure. I've offered other out there names for him to veto so that this one will seem more 'normal' and he'll agree.
Re: Favorite Guilty Pleasure Name
Other names were Willow, Autumn, and Cambria for girls. Atlas, Jean (pronounced John) and Damian for boy.
Another name I really like is Nicola, as in Nicola Tesla.
It's a boy! Grow baby, grow! EDD: 4/22/2016
