Gush of pink watery fluid

Okay y'all I'm trying not to freak out about this and keep telling myself I'm fine but... I drove to work this morning and as I got out of my car I felt a gush of liquid coming out and immediately went to the bathroom. It was tons of pink watery fluid, all over my underwear and soaked through my pants. I haven't had any bad cramping or any kind of pains at all... Anyone experience this?! I can't even call my DH because he has a huge interview today for a new job and I don't want to distract him. I called my OB office and it doesn't open for another hour and a half! We haven't told anyone else either so I'm kind of in the dark here. The only option I have is going to see the school nurse (I'm a teacher)....

No I didn't have sex last night and I'll be 7weeks tomorrow. I called he emergency line at my OB and the nurse said my doc is on call so I'm waiting for a call..... I'm sitting in my car crying my eyes out... This is all just too much!

Try and stay calm... they may have you go into the office to get checked or even have an ultrasound to see the baby... best thing you can do right now is relax and breathe.

You said its just pink watery fluid and not full blown blood. Don't freak. You're pregnant right now.

My CM has changed insanely the past couple of weeks. It can be that with a tinge of blood. You're not cramping, it will be okay!

Try to stay calm - are you close to your OB's office so you can go in right away? My OB has an emergency line - are you sure yours doesn't?

I called them back and asked if it was normal to take 30 mins for an on call doc to call and she said no, she trying to reach the doc and will call me back...

And about 5 mins after I posted this I went to the bathroom again and see bright red blood... I put a tampon in because I don't know what else to do. Ugh.

If it turned bright red, don't use a tampon. If you have to, roll up some TP and use that as a make shift pad.

I would get a pad not a tampon it can cause further irritation. I hope your OB calls soon. If not I would be in the office the minute the doors open. Not cool on your OB's part. I am so sorry this is happening. Prayers for you

@gigemily09 - I agree with PP, do you have any pads or liners to use vs. tampon? FX you get a call back soon and can get into see your OB.

I'm hoping you've already told work you need a sub for the day and that your OB calls immediately. Don't use a tampon. Can the nurses office give you a pad?

FX for you. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling, but try to keep calm until you get more information. Glad your OB office was able to get you in to see someone!
