  • HBamama2b. You are right about intent. The photo was innocently posted and should be received as such ! :-)

um @atlast111 - do you know pay attention to the real world?  There are crazy people everywhere.  And most of the crazier ones wouldn't be bothered with normal internet trash.   And the title is bump pic - I don't think they have to search very far.  Anyone can click this image and save it to their hard drive.  And then use it for whatever they want after that.

    And to @gray51015  :)

If you don't want to look, why keep coming back to the post? Sorry y'all, nothing indecent here. I feel like this is the same kind of shaming ladies get for breastfeeding in public. 'I can see the curve of your boob above that babies head you filthy overly-exposed hussy! I know you have a nipple there!' shouts the woman with the low-cut, too-small top and push up bra.... Am I right? The point isn't the attire, it's whether the intent is sexual or not. Neither the black sporty poster or this op are intending to be sexy. They are being proud. I'm on team 'rock your roll'.

Either way--it is not supportive of our fellow bumpie OP to attack or make fun of her attire, even if you don't approve of it. This is a support forum, be supportive!

They can be proud and put a damn pair of pants on. No one is attacking her, just giving a reminder that pants are a good idea when posting pictures on an open forum on the internet.

We keep coming back to respond to the new comments, it jumps to the newest comment when you open the thread so its not like we're scrolling past the picture every time.
  • WSU2015.....Thanks. Was about to say the same thing. Her pics, her choice. Nicely put!
  • 8w4d and I have a bump. 4th baby tho.

Sure. And it's also a public forum, where you can't dictate the responses you might get when you post something obnoxious.

I agree with you 100% on this. Each poster is entitled to have a response no matter what it be. The decision making police posts taking the Internet safety stance were particularly obnoxious. Hence the response.

  • Underwear posts, simply put, do not go over well here. Not just June 16, but all the boards, going WAY back. There are a few things that are guaranteed to get you flamed: the aforementioned panty post, use of the word "preggers," old wives' tale gender prediction stuff...there's more. That's why it's highly recommended to lurk for awhile before you go active. You can get a feel for the group norms. Are you free to post that stuff anyway? Sure. But know what you're getting into.

You're going to get "flamed" if you use the word "preggers"? Is this real life?

    PREGGERS PREGGERS PREGGERS
Lmao. Wait. Is it okay to say "lmao" ..or... should I check the March to May boards to be sure.. ?
You can say whatever you want. Just letting you know what tends to inspire snark. If you don't mind a little snark, go for it. Certainly livens things up.

  • You have to know with this many pregnant women reading it and you are asking for comments you are going to get all different types of feedback. You can't get offended by someone else's opinion. If you are, sorry to say but you might not want to be on a pregnancy board.

but the real question is...why didn't OP wear these?

Ha! Those are superb. I could support those undies.
  • The same should be said to you, you will see all sorts of posts and pictures, if you can't handle maybe you should do the same.

I told DH just now I found the sexiest pregnant lady underwear. He isn't impressed. :)
  • I was waiting for someone to say it but I didn't want to be the one. It's just not that hard to put on some pants first.
  • This thread has made my day. My first thought when I opened am, was 'really, half naked stranger in their undies, too much'. Has the OP even responded again? So I. With the snarky ladies. I'll be keeping my bloated belly under wraps for a few more weeks, well it will always be under wraps:)

  • Sorry to all the women who I offended by showing my bump in my undies. I I have deleted the photo. Thanks to the mums who tried to stick up for me, I appreciate it.
Just to give you an idea, where I live, it is beyond hot right now. I was in my undies and baggy long top at home running around after my beautiful little toddler. I sat down for 5 mins and took a moment to appreciate the gift of life growing in my belly and took a pic. I didn't think it would offend but I will never post on here again as to not accidentally offend again. Thanks all

Ha! Yes! Just did this too, DH isn't smiling. He thinks it's the hormones and told me to snap out of it.
