We've had a general idea for names for awhile but our name choices are limited. DH's family custom is to name children in honor of a deceased family member by naming children with the first letter of the family member's name.

Our current front runners are:

Margot Rose (honoring my grandmother and my husband's grandmother)

Mason Kennedy (honoring my grandfather and my husband's grandmother) - plus they'll have a cousin named Reagan and DH thinks the cousin combo would be funny.

I've known my daughters name for awhile. My sister passed away so I would use her middle name and the fact that my SO has the same last initial as we do, my daughter would have her initials too! And same birth month (if this one is a girl)

It might change but Odin is Norse mythology and is a strong name and I like the idea of honoring his roots. We both like Liam but its so popular that I'd only use it as a middle name.
I know my names are a little unique, but I'm happy with them as of now.
