My LO is 11 weeks. I'm still (happily) waiting. But I'm exclusively pumping too.
EP won't save you as long as EBF on demand. It also can depend on your BC. I was BF on demand until 8w, but had my period return at 6 ws due to the mini pill.

I got mine around 9 weeks, and have now had 5 irregular periods in a total of 16 weeks, but that is probably due to obvious hormone changes and the minipill I'm taking.
I had one period at 8 weeks PP since I started and stopped the pill in the same week. LO is now 15 weeks old and I haven't gotten another one. Could be breastfeeding but could be irregularity since my cycles were never on point off BCP anyway.
i was at 14 weeks and it was barely noticeable. Still haven't been able to get on Mirena because it didn't last long enough for me to get into the doctor.
20 weeks here and no Aunt Flo yet. We use the Marquete method of natural family planning, which involves a daily urine test to determine hormone levels. We haven't seen even an estrogen spike in weeks, much less any LH spike (which would almost certainly cause me to ovulate). I'm praying this natural amenorrhea last for quite some time (I EBF and plan to until she's over six months old).
I'm feeding on demand and then the little guy gets a formula bottle at night (or on occasion if we go out somewhere) and I take the mini pill (is NoraBe falling into that category?) but no sign of a period yet. However I had an inkling of bloating/mood swings around what would have been that time if that's possible. But to be honest, after the recovery from delivery I don't think any period can even compete so I'm not too concerned either way, just curious! Lol
Dr said anyone exclusively breastfeeding the period returns about 6 months after birth but everyone is different. Mine returned 5 months after birth and I had the mire a inserted.
I got mine when my son was 4-5months old and it was the best thing that ever happened to me (besides having my baby...) I was finally able to have some clarity after birth. I hope mine comes every week now lol
My doctor said that if your on the mini pill (which I am) and also BF (which I am as well) you may not have your period return until your done BF due to the hormones. My LO is 6 1/2 months and still no period for me. Best practice is to take a pregnancy test if there's a chance you might be pregnant.
@micshi yup. Thanks. I had only took a test because I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth out and just wanted to be certain I wasn't pregnant. ...... Surgery is postponed until November at least.
@banfrog yay for baby! Boo for wisdom teeth. I had all four of mine taken out a few years ago; they actually put me under to do it. Hopefully your pregnancy, delivery, and surgery all go smoothly.
