Rants/Raves/Symptoms: insatiable, low sex drive, headaches, up a million times at night to pee, fatigue like whoa.
Questions for the group: none right now
GTKY: What's your favorite part of being pregnant? My favorite part isn't here yet...in a few months, I'll be able to see and feel the baby move. THAT part rocks my world, and I'm so looking forward to it!!
Upcoming Appointments: I had my hematology follow-up this past Tuesday (so far my levels are what they'd expect for thalessemia minor-- yay!). I have my next OB appointment the day before Thanksgiving. I can't wait! I feel like this is the longest part of pregnancy-- my symptoms are dissipating slowly but surely, but I can't feel the baby moving strongly yet.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Still tired, but less so. Breast tenderness is intermittent now. Round ligament pain comes and goes-- and last night when I was stressed and it felt like a million little things were happening at once, I think I had a Braxton Hicks contraction. I felt my uterus go hard like a rock and just hold for a bit. I drank some water and sat down for a few minutes and it went away. I had them often with DS, but they didn't start until around week 20.
Questions for the group: ETA: I had another BH contraction today. Anyone else having them this early? Apparently it's not uncommon for 2nd+ pregnancies...
GTKY: What's your favorite part of being pregnant? I love when the baby is large enough that I can easily feel him/her moving and reacting to outside stimuli! I remember with DS, he'd be more active with certain things I ate or songs I sang, and would react to me rubbing my bump. It was so fun! I even felt his Moro reflex a few times since at work we have to do monthly fire drills.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: loving how quickly my hair is growing. Loving my renewed energy. But, I've been waking up for the day super early the last two mornings (around 4 am), which is very out of the ordinary for me. That can go away anytime it wants!
Questions for the group:
GTKY: What's your favorite part of being pregnant? As a FTM, I love watching how my husband is changing. I see him becoming more protective and more willing to do whatever I need. It's fun to watch and once LO is here I know it will only get better!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm sick I have the worst sinus pressure EVER!
Questions for the group: NA
GTKY: What's your favorite part of being pregnant? Movements I can't wait to feel this little one. I think I feel quickening some days, but then it skips a couple days. I use my at home Doppler and the baby moves constantly, but I don't feel those movements.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Feeling good, almost no symptoms except peeing a lot and super bloat and waking up feeling like my stomach is a black hole - so hungry in the mornings!
Questions for the group: Can't think of anything
GTKY: What's your favorite part of being pregnant? Not feeling guilty for eating random and not super healthy stuff. Maybe still a different guilt (I should be getting more vitamins/protein, etc) but at least not the I'm going to get so fat variety of guilt! And the baby kicks/wiggles/hiccups, can't wait for that part!
Upcoming Appointments:I had an elective U/S today. It's our anniversary, so we thought it would be a fun way to celebrate. It was way more enjoyable than I thought! It was fun to see baby's heart beating, kicks, and other movements. Oh yeah... It's a boy! :-) Out next OB appt is in two weeks.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms: minimal symptoms lately. I love it!
Questions for the group:
GTKY: What's your favorite part of being pregnant? I just love the feeling of bringing life into the world. I can't wait for a noticeable bump and feeling regular movements though!
