Which girl name?

We are still contemplating. Still love the name Elinor, but more recently we also keep coming back to Sophie. Big brother is Oliver. I know the spelling of Elinor is different for English speakers, but we have sorted that out for us. Just not sure about Ollie and Ellie and I'm not sure if I can convince others about a different nickname for Elinor. Sounds a lot like cartoon characters Ollie and Ellie, no? Sophie is a great classic but doesn't seem as common in North America as it is in Europe which draws us towards it. Thoughts?

I prefer Sophie. If you go with Elinor you could use nn Nora instead.

I think both names are good. Other nicknames for Elinor/ Eleanor are Lynn, Nori, Nora, Elle.

When we were considering the name Eleanor for our first pregnancy I also liked the nickname Nell.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I think it is decided then. We both love the name Elinor and just kept getting hung up on the nn, but reading this is encouraging. I like Nora or Nell! You are the best, not having a name picked has been stressing me out.
