WAYDTGKY: OPKs daily now, bbt, sex, all the vitamins, cm checks
R/R/CS: Excited SO and I booked flights to Geneva for the week after next so visit by sister and her babies
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom ETA:
We didn't have proms when I was at school (Uk) although they did start introducing them a few years ago here so no experience for me to share unfortunately.
Edited: because I do know the difference between here and hear
WAYDTGKY: I gotta get on Amazon and order me a better thermometer...
R/R/CS: since I am just starting a new cycle, I figure I have a month where I can work at it pretty hard to drop some of my extra weight. I got in a good workout last night and threw away the last slice of birthday cake from DS's party on Sunday.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: I went with a large group of friends. At last minute everyone started to pair up and I didn't get a date. I felt kinda like a 9th wheel. But I made the most of it and had fun.
ETA: line breaks again. Ugh. Anyone else having these problems??
R/R/CS: if my next two temps are above 98.1 FF will give me crosshairs for CD 19! FX! Still gonna HIO tonight just in case
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: Yikes. For junior prom I went with someone I was set up with. He was socially awkward, so was I and it was not a great time. Senior prom I went with someone from work I had a crush on, but he told me that night he didn't feel the same. And I had little to no friends at my high school. So fun! I went to a friend from a different school's senior prom and had fun at that one with her, except for the fact that my date kept smelling me all night.
R/R/CS: I'm getting the feeling that my "late" ovulation is the new normal. Unfortunately, this cycle that means that DH is likely going to be out of town on O day and possibly the day before. Bust out the turkey baster!
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. I went with my junior year boyfriend. The theme was "An Evening in Paris". I don't remember much about it other than that my dress was awesome (for 1998). It was silver and had halter neckline and a mostly open back with two straps that crossed.
WAYDTGKY: Temping, starting OPKs soon, PNV, sex, will be trying preseed that should be arriving today.
R/R/CS: Ready to be done with this boring part of the cycle
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. It was fun! I went with my HS boyfriend both junior and senior year. Our prom and post-prom was always held at the school and they would bring in entertainment like a magician, caricature artist, etc. for the after-prom part, it went on until like 4am. They wanted to encourage alcohol free after-prom activities I guess, which makes sense.

R/R/CS: FX that AF has left the house, but although I've had nothing since yesterday afternoon I'm still skeptical. Last cycle something happened that I've never experienced before... I had heavy flow for three days, then absolutely nothing for a full 24 hours, and then it started up heavy again for three days. WTF?! So really hoping that doesn't happen again. This AF so far has not been nearly as bad as last, so I'm hoping my body is normalizing a little. But I'm still afraid of what my doc is going to tell me next week about the cause of my bleeding after sex. Ugh, I'm just hoping it's nothing that will get in the way of getting KU!
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. I didn't go, and I don't regret it. I hated my high school! But it's not something I ever think about ... people put way too much weight on high school as being "the prime of your life." Yeah right, you have a whole lot of wonderful life after HS!
WAYDTGKY: Going with the flow. Sex only this month.
R/R/CS: Nothing today.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. I went to a really small high school (as in 35 people in my class) so it was really kind of boring. They made us have a formal dinner which took 3 hours of our 4 hour prom time. So only an hour to dance, they had no music playing during dinner. I wasnt feeling well. and some other girl who didn't even go to my school but just got invited had the same exact dress as me.
R/R/CS: raves: life is awesome right now! Got my + opk yesterday and DH is onboard for hio every day until my temps spike AND my 14 month old who has never slept more than a few hours at a time in his life started sleeping through the night this week so I'm finally getting to temp at a consistent time every morning!!!
Rant: I totally forgot to temp when I woke up this morning Alarm went off, I hit snooze and lay there for a few minutes before I suddenly remembered. Temp was a bit higher but not enough to be my spike so still hoping to see that tomorrow.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom I also went with a big group of friends. Prom is one of those funny things, it felt like a big deal at the time looking back now it's like meh . I actually had a better time at our "grad party". It was an all night party that a parent committee put on every year after the grad ceremony. It took over the whole school. The gym was full of those blow up fair games. There were magicians and hypnotist a in the auditorium, there was a "Vegas" room with fake gambling, a bar serving mocktails and a big raffle at the end where people won everything from mini fridges for their dorm rooms to cars. In retrospect that party still blows me away.
WAYDTGKY: PNVs, Temping/Charting (my new BBT arrived and it is clearly better than my old one!), going to try Pre-Seed this month, DH is taking zinc and vitamin E (which I think takes a while to make a difference, but it can't hurt), gearing up for all the sex.
R/R/CS: I was cranky yesterday, and I thank all the very nice ladies who took a moment to commiserate or comment. I'm feeling much more upbeat today, and you are a part of that. I used my Mabis BBT this morning and my temp was lower than it has ever been, leading me to believe that the old BBT I was using that favored my temps like crazy was pretty inaccurate.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: Oh boy. Well, my junior year, I went with the only openly gay boy at my high school. My social liberal roots are deep. That was a fun night with friends. My senior year, I had just broken up with my boyfriend who was a year older, and I went alone (with friends). Both of them were fine, but not really that momentous or exciting. My friends and I went to Six Flags the day after both years and that was far more fun!
@blonde1817 It's so odd, I have had some strange things happen since we started actively trying that never happened to me before either (spotting mid-cycle, a really short cycle, really noticeable ovulation pain, some bleeding during sex) and I keep wondering if I'm crazy or just hyper-aware. Your bleeding thing is obviously new, but it makes me think there is something to the stress of TTC messing with us.
WAYDTGKY: Temping, PNV's, HIO when we feel like it.
R/R/CS: Just the same old rant. I'm seriously bummed out that I did not ovulate. I just want AF to come and this cycle to be over already. If I don't see a temp shift next cycle, I'm going to be seriously freaking out.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom
I went with a friend of mine, not a date, and wore a slinky yellow and pink monstrosity which I LOVED at the time. Post-prom, a group of us took a limo out to Montauk (I'm from Long Island, NY), and we camped near a beach for two nights. That was the first time I drank liquor!
R/R/CS: nothing to rant or rave about, just waiting to get closer to my FW
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom:
I went to prom my junior and senior year with my high school boyfriend. It was kind of lame. I've never cared for school dances, but I did like dressing up.

@marajay6 & @andipandi127 Out of curiosity, what was your previous brand of BBT? I think I may need to change mine too...
@chrlyr - haha Turkey Baster, that reminded me of a really dodgy sitcom I watched where a woman got another woman pregnant whilst she slept with a turkey baster so that her husband would leave her for the other woman....
@sldp123 - I'm with you on that one, roll on O - I can feel my ovaries twitching just waiting for an egg to pop out
R/R/CS: My temp dropped dramatically which hopefully means impending Ovulation... but my head hurts and its been raining so I am exhausted... and I want to hit the FW but man I do not want sex... but if I ovulate I will be sad .... meh... the struggle is real
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: It was ok....lol I didn't go with my husband so its not like I really look back and go awwww... its more like ewww.... or eeeek ... my junior prom I was pretty fat... but had a blast... and my senior prom I had lost a ton of weight and looked AMAZING...but I wasn't friends with anyone in my senior class since my breakup with my junior year bf... and my new bf wanted to leave to go to the after party and wouldn't dance with me.
@sldp123 I was having the same thoughts yesterday. WTO is boooooring.
@blonde1817 I heard that so many times about both HS and college. I always thought if those really were my glory years then my life is destined to be miserable. Eff that noise. My life is so much more enjoyable as an adult than it was as a teenager. So grateful all the glory days fear mongering didn't pan out.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 11
WAYDTGKY: PNV, BBT, OPK, CM, EOD
R/R/CS: Last cycle I temped around my normal wake up time, which got a little wonky because of occasionally waking up before my alarm. This cycle I'm waking up at 5, a time I'm not likely to naturally wake-up before, then going back to sleep. My alarm goes off, I temp, I write it down in the dark, then go back to sleep and update the app when I get up later. I woke up this morning all worried I slept through my BBT alarm and didn't temp but apparently I didn't. I mean, I slept through it but I still did everything. There was a new number written down and when I turned on my BBT that number showed up. But I remember none of the temping. So apparently I've figured out how to temp in my sleep...
GTKY: For a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: I went to prom three years so I have a couple stories but my senior prom was the best. My boyfriend at the time did a really sweet proposal to invite me. And a couple weeks later I broke up with him. So I went to my senior prom without a date and I had so much fun. I went with a huge group of friends, with and without dates. I danced my ass off all night with a whole bunch of different people because I didn't have to worry about upsetting a date or anything. After prom a bunch of us went to our friend's house to spend the night. We stayed up late talking, playing guitar, and smoking cigars. A lot of people were sad for me that I didn't have a date but I was pretty glad I didn't. Loved it!
R/R/CS: If this cycle is as long as the last one, we're going to have to have a lot of sex on a tiny squeaky bed at the in-laws' house over Thanksgiving.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. I went with this really nice guy but I was determined not to have fun because I had broken up with my boyfriend not too long ago. I still feel feel bad thinking about it because I was too self-absorbed with my made-up high school drama sorrow to realize that he deserved to have fun at his prom with a decent date.
****question posted**** Month/Cycle: I had my IUD out in April and have not had a period. I have an almost 3 year old (who I BF for a long time) and my cycle has not returned. So I guess I'm waiting for my PPAF.
CD: 43. I was on progesterone (to try to kick start a bleed) and had a small withdrawal bleed.
WAYDTKU: temping, opk,
R/R/CS: I've been temping and using OPKs nearly everyday for the past 7 months with no signs of O. I've been having tons of EWCM for the past couple months, nearly everyday-- so I was hopeful it was a sign of my cycle figuring things out. Imagine my surprise when a couple days ago I had a days worth of positive OPKs on wondof and then confirmed on a Clear Blue Easy-- just in case my eyes were playing tricks on me.
I know OPKs are nothing with out temping to confirm ovulation-- and my temping commitment has been lackluster lately. I was out of town and didn't temp and then a sick toddler has changed my sleeping patterns. FF is now giving me crosshairs for the day before my positive OPK-- which doesn't seem accurate.
I was so excited about the positive OPK but I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I know you can get a positive OPK and not actually ovulate. Does anyone have insight on my temps? Does it look like I had an LH surge but no ovulation?
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom- I was on the prom committee so I got to pick the location and the song. I picked mine and my HS boyfriend's "song". It was a beautiful event!
R/R/CS: Well maybe not everything, for various reasons I have not temped since Monday.... I got a positive OPK today! It's still early but I'm in a much better mood today. I may quit temping for a while, at first it was fun and exciting and I'm glad I did so I know that I have been ovulating and in a small window. Now I think it adds to stress and for the next couple cycles just CM and OPKs.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom - Two stories, this will be long.
I loved prom. I was not in the popular crowd but had a few circles I popped in and out of. I went to an all girl school and how we elected the prom court was one person from each homeroom. There was a group of six of us in mine and we always all voted for one of us for each dance or thing without success. This time like five people in our homeroom all wanted to be on the court and it was "my turn" for our little group of six our of the 25 person class room to vote for me. I actually won the vote in our classroom. People who had never talked to me and b*tches who I hated from grade school kept coming up to me to congratulate me (I did not get queen). It was weird funny.
Then for my boyfriend's prom (all boy school) right before he picked me up I put blue streaks in hair to match my dress and my mom flipped out but since it was his prom and there was no time to shower she let me go. I then also put on fishnets and way to much eyeliner. I loved that dress. I wish I had events to go to that would need a fancy dress.
R/R/CS: I go for my hysteroscopy in about an hour. DH had some leftover 800 mg ibuprofen pills so he gave me the bottle lol. Hopefully it won't be too bad.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom -- I went to both my HS proms with guy friends. I LOVED my senior prom dress. I brought it with me to college and wore it again for some formal I went to so at least I got to wear it twice.

R/R/CS: My mom texted me yesterday to ask if I am planning on getting pregnant soon because my older sister thinks I am and she is upset since she wants to have the first grandbaby. I mean, I don't want to make her upset, but I'm not planning my family around hers. Ugh. Also, I have had creamy CM since my period ended and yesterday, nothing. What's going on with my body?
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom
Wow I haven't thought about prom in a while. Junior year I went with my HS boyfriend and it was pretty normal. Senior year was more interesting - I made my own dress that year, which was cool. I went with friends because my boyfriend and I had broken up. He was on prom court, but didn't win. We pretty much got back together while at the dance, so that was cool. One of my best friends that I went with got sick while at prom, though, so that lessened the fun a bit.
R/R/CS: Was hoping for a temp spike to confirm O but not yet. I think the travel might be messing with me. I hope by tomorrow I will be back to normal. If I put in high temps for the next few days after today, FF put CH on Cd14. I would agree with that. The OPKs were negative but getting darker up to that point and then I couldn't test because I didn't feel like hanging out in the stall in the airport for 5 minutes testing. Yesterday afternoon, after a good hard nap on the couch, the OPK was lighter and lighter still this AM ( probably overkill but I am looking for any indication because of the stupid travel messing up temps on O-day)
Chart is attached because I can
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom
I went to prom freshman, sophomore and senior years (was always dating older guys). Sophomore year I went to an after prom party that was raided by the cops. I was put in handcuffs and taken in an actual paddy wagon because someone said I'd been drinking. I am such a goody two shoes that I wasn't (fortunately) and passed a breathalyzer with flying colors. My parents even let me drive their new car home from the police station when they picked me up. Senior year we went to Denny's after prom. Not risking that again. I also had the crap scared out of me and didn't drink until college lol.
WAYDTGKY: BBT, CM, CP, OPK, ED/EOD, and put DH on zinc + folate
R/R/CS: Woke up to Fertility Friend's new layout and it took me a few minutes to enter my data. Not loving it so far, especially the big blaring red light at the bottom that says "Probably Not Fertile". I know they mean right now at this moment, but it made me grumpy at 5:30 this morning.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: Haha @jhems776 I was also a reluctant prom queen! I'm a major introvert, and was even less social in high school, but my best friend was a cheerleader and somehow I was nominated and ended up winning. My theory was either that I didn't talk to people enough to annoy them or there was some Carrie ish going down that night.
R/R/CS: I'm triggering tonight! Not much else to talk about lol.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: I went with my boyfriend at the time and he was totally lame. I remember having a good time with my friends but we didn't date much longer after that.

@PJpeppercorn I'm not an expert with charts yet, so someone else might be able to better help, but I'm not sure why FF gave you CHs for CD40. I would have thought you would get them for CD41 after putting in another high temp for tomorrow. If you put in a couple more fake high temps, does it move them?

R/R/CS: Temp is back down to pre O temps, so that's good.
GTKY: I was homeschooled, but I went to prom junior and senior year with random guys I barely knew who asked me. Both years I knew probably 2 people total at the whole dance, and both years I had an awesome time. My dates were great and I love dressing up and dancing, so I had fun.
@sldp123 that's a good idea. I'll play around with it. I'm just trying to manage my expectation. After having all negatives for 7 months, I just think it can't be true!
@babymish thanks but I'm not going to call it yet. Conditions this morning were too sketchy to trust. I put in "sleep deprived" even though I wasn't because I knew that would give me an open circle. I'm really hopeful for tomorrow though!
R/R/CS: Well, the nurse called me back from the gyno's office. She said that all of the blood tests weren't back yet, but from what she can see, I am not menopausal and everything looks normal. The test they are waiting on is for testosterone, but she is thinking that will come back normal as well. Soooo... if everything is fine, am I doomed to have 50+ day cycles forever? I am on day 56, with no end in sight. I suppose when she calls me with the other test results, I will ask. I just feel like they aren't forthcoming with information, and I am the one that has to constantly check back with them to see what is going on. It's very frustrating.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom: I went to a very small Charter high school. There were only 93 kids in my class. We live near a theme park / botanical garden, so we had prom there. I didn't have a date and I went with my best friend and her boyfriend. We split a limo with a bunch of acquaintances and it was awkward. When I walked into the dance, I was wearing the same dress as one of the most popular girls in my class. So that was mortifying. All in all, it was a miserable time, and if I could go back, I wouldn't go.

@PJpeppercorn I gotta say I don't really understand why FF gave you crosshairs. Do you put those in yourself? I don't see a clear temp shift yet You're looking for at least .4 degree C or 1 degree F.
I would keep up with the temping and opks and try to get a few more temps in there before you call it.
Also, I see that you have a lot of fertile cm. have you noticed any change in the past few days? I find ewcm throughout WTO too but I notice it gets much wetter and more slippery before o so that might give you some hints too.
Good luck!
ETA I just noticed that the crosshairs are on the day before you + opk which doesn't make sense either. Also, your pre-O temps should be mostly below the cover line which they're not. Sorry everything is so confusing Long cycles are the worst.
@0SeaMonkey0 -- so exciting that your LO has started sleeping through the night! My LO didn't until about 2 and I had to listen to all my friends who had 3 month olds sleeping through the night! Lol!
Thank you! I'm so worried that by saying it out loud I'm going to jinx it We finally put a pillow in his crib, under the sheet, and he immediately started sleeping through. It was magical!
R/R/CS: we got back from our vacation last night. Let's just say thank goodness I'm alive today. That was the worst flight I have ever been on. Who ever thought it was a good idea and safe to fly into a crazy huge storm system with 170mph winds is crazy! Thankful we made it ok but still a little freaked out when I think about it. Now to try to relax and get back into the swing of things with work.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom Nothing special happened. Just went with a bunch of other couples and my high school boyfriend. It was at the zoo so that was kind of unique.

WAYDTGKU: bbt, cm, cp, sex
R/R/CS: AF is gone woohoo! And I forgot to put my thermometer by the bed last night so when my alarm went off I reached for it and it wasn't there!!! I was mad at myself and just thought oh well get it tomorrow! BUT then DH to the rescue!! He got up quickly and brought it to me! What a guy! chart attached for those who want to peek.
GTKY: my HS bf went to another school and was a year older so I went to his prom as a Jr. And had an amazing time but my dress was not the best. So when my prom came around I found the perfect dress and felt amazing! But my prom sucked because my school was too cheap to run the AC and all the guys were on the verge of heat stroke just standing in line for pictures. We got our pictures taken, danced to one song in the parking lot (much cooler outside) then left.
@gonetothesea How long were your previous cycles? I would ask about Provera, since with no signs of ovulating you are looking at a 70+ day cycle. After taking Provera, I just had a 41-day cycle. Before that, my cycles had ranged from 30-38 days so I guess I'm at least back in the range and I'll have to see how this cycle goes. I know it is frustrating but hopefully you are just having a fluke of a cycle and you'll get back on track soon.
@hummingbird125 fingers crossed a temp spike comes soon. I know how frustrating it can be waking up and wanting to see it!
Month/Cycle: 2/1 after chemical

WAYDTGKY: Preseed, checking cm, temping, prenatals
R/R/CS: I have 4 days left of VIP FF membership. Wishing I had purchased the upgrade when it was "on special." Blah. In better news, it looks like I might have ovulated a couple days ago. With no ewcm And no positive OPK. Yet when I DID have all those things no O this cycle. Bodies are so strange. Timing isn't the best but it only takes one right?
GTKY: I didn't go! ha. Don't regret it, thankfully
Have been lurking for a cycle or so and finally decided to jump in and join the fun! I'm 29, DH is 32, and we've been married 5 years (together 10). FINALLY at a point in our lives (bought a house) and careers (me = dream job, DH = nearly done his MSW) to start seriously TTC #1.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 18
WAYDTGKY: BBT, CM, OPK
R/R/CS: Went off BCP in September and 28 days later got AF (no temping/OPK - no idea if I actually O'd). Want to get serious about understanding my cycles while I also lose the extra fluff per the OBs instruction. Patiently (or not) waiting for a temp spike/+OPK, but I drink a ton of water/tea daily and am not convinced I'll catch my LH surge. This month will be highly unlikely just because I am still trying to sort things out, but you gotta start somewhere.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. Went with my HS boyfriend, had an amazing time with him and my friends and absolutely loved my dress/hair. Just found the formal pics the other day and the DH got a good laugh out of my scrawny ex.

R/R/CS: I pulled a muscle a couple weeks ago, that leading up to O wasn't a big deal to skip having sex, but I'm going to have to suck it up for the next few days. I feel bad for DH because I haven't been in the mood since it happened. He even joked last night that we aren't going to get pregnant by just thinking about it. But I cant even move my head up to move a pillow without pretty severe pain. Ughhh.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. I went with my HS BF all 3 yrs starting my Sophomore year. I loved the dresses, hair, makeup, ect for all of them. My senior year was probably the best though. It was at a beautiful golf course at the beach and after a large group of us had a bonfire. Looking back at everything that was there for the event, and paying for our wedding, our fairly small school must have had some crazy fundraising/ bargaining skills.

WAYDTGKY: temping/charting, supplements to lengthen my LP
R/R/CS: woke up with the beginning of a cold. Blah.
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom. Eh. Nothing special. I went with a friend from another school with a big group of us. He got wasted before and pretty much napped at the table the whole time. No big deal. I wore the same dress as one of the most popular girls in my class. I didn't really care about that, but I did find her crying in the bathroom, so that made me feel bad. I mean, there were like 300 people at that prom. The same dress was bound to happen.
CD: You were just looking at this, how could you have forgotten already, self?! 15
WAYDTGKY: pretty much all of it.
R/R/CS: I *think* I might have O'ed as this morning's temp is the first above all the others (other than when I was on my period and in those first few days of temping + time change, so we'll see what happens over the next couple of days! (chart linked in siggy and attached in case anyone wants to take a peek). I'd put myself down as cautiously optimistic since my temps do seem to vary more than most. open circles are because I'm a crap sleeper, so if I wake up less than an hour before my alarm, I just take the temp. Also because I think I accidentally didn't set the time right for a bunch of them but didn't realize it until yesterday. I've got my fingers crossed, and if I do successfully O and chart it, I will feel much better about this temping thing next cycle...
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom
I honestly cannot fathom why anyone would want to know. I went, it was fun. I had a date, and we went with a group of my friends (who were also his). I wanted to have my shoulder surgery before but my mom insisted that I go to prom... I still don't see what the fuss was, but we did have a good time.

Got my + opk yesterday and DH is onboard for hio every day until my temps spike AND my 14 month old who has never slept more than a few hours at a time in his life started sleeping through the night this week so I'm finally getting to temp at a consistent time every morning!!!
Rant: I totally forgot to temp when I woke up this morning
GTKY: for a throwback Thursday, tell us about your HS prom
I also went with a big group of friends. Prom is one of those funny things, it felt like a big deal at the time looking back now it's like meh

Loved it!
Month/Cycle: I had my IUD out in April and have not had a period.

WAYDTGKY: things

WAYDTGKU: Almost everything.

Sorry everything is so confusing

What a guy!
ETA: gif was broken.
