Reading the OP's posts in here, I feel like I have been drinking. If something is going to be THAT hard to describe, then just come out with the name in the very beginning, instead of confusing us all!
What no one realizes yet is that OPs entire post is actually a giant anagram -its contents containing all the answers we seek: her name, her fathers disappointing full name that's actually a nickname, and her future son's hypothetical masculined ladies name.
Then those names can actually be re-arranged to form her other two children's color coded middle names.
I think that if you can't bring yourself to just share the name and get proper opinions you probably already know it's terrible.
False. Most people don't share names because they don't want negative opinions of a name they feel strongly positive about. No name will be universally liked by everyone, so why invite negativity?

Then why ask at all? If you love the name, give the kid the name you love and don't ask for opinions. Don't come on here and try to induce mass aneurisms with nonsensical, rambling crap that no one understands.
I would take statistics over again before I tried to decode whatever the hell is going on here.

This post literally kept me up last night. I was sitting in bed googling "four syllable color words" because it is making me insane that I can't solve this riddle. I need a hobby. HELP.

Well I know what I'll be doing while trying to stay awake tonight (yay 30 hour days). Six years as a cryptographer makes me like these kinds of puzzles for some terrible reason. I second the sadness about Jazzberry Jam. Can we just vote for that one instead?

I just read this whole thread and now my brain hurts.
I think I need to go back and love tit all the hilarious responses though.
OP I cannot give you any advice because I have two masters degrees yet still don't have the slightest idea what's going on. If you're not going to post the actual name no one will be able to give you actual advice that would work in real life.
Also, I don't think "because it's a fun coincidence" is a significant enough reason to give your kid an absurd name, even if it is a MN. It's also too close to your name. Big nope from me. But if you guys like it, by all means, go for it!
I'm not sure what the question is. Without knowing the name, it's impossible for anyone to weigh in. For example, using previous posts, I think Grey is fine as a middle name, but wouldn't use Cerulean. Whether or not the name is an obvious anagram really depends upon the two names so it's impossible for anyone to give any advice on whether or not it is noticeable. So what are you asking?
The middle name supposed to be four syllables and found on the crayola wiki page right? Cause that's how I got to Cer-u-le-an? She is Lucerene (only because it uses all the letters) and her farther is Larry. Also down the rabbit hole- another anagram for Cerulean is "unclear." Well played crazy anagram lady. This was clearly your plan all along.
BTW If that's not it then she is def naming her son Perry Periwinkle.

Op, honey, you're being a complete flake. I'm not sure what impression you want the rest of us to have of you but you're definitely trying to build a complex and convoluted picture of yourself. You're not here to get advice. You're here to get some sort of validation. I would just give it to you and call it a day but I can't quite put my finger on what it is you need.
I am a very clear, very concise and very logical person. I find BS tiring and I find your undeserved tone of condescension even more tiring. Without a name, I can't be of any assistance. But best of luck naming your wee one.
The word troll is often bandied about ... But in this case it's equally plausible the OP is an actual troll guarding a bridge somewhere and therefore can only speak in vaguaries and riddles. It's a central tenant of her profession! Whatever the case this did turn out to be a fun brain teaser! Who can come up with the next puzzle? "I'm thinking of a name"... Haha
I don't like the name Laurence Cerulean. It has nothing to do with the fact that it's an anagram or that it involves a color. Just not my style. If it is the name feel free to use it. It isn't that bad of a name.

We've only just scratched the surface.
