Re: TWW Monday

  • @AmMcc12 I agree with @beachbunnyxo123 your chart looks triphasic to me. How long is your normal LP? FX for you!

  • @AmMcc12 your chart looks great, possibly triphasic! Hang in there, fx for you!

@AmMcc12 your chart definitely looks triphasic for sure! FX!!

@beachbunnyxo123 looks like CD 12 or 13 you probably ovulated.
    Expecting baby #1 August 2016

  • Good luck at @AmMcc12! Try not to read into your chart too much. Last month everyone here kept telling me I had a triphasic chart to the point I was sure I was KU and was set for major disappointment. But you know what girl: you are not out until AF shows her ugly face!!

    Month/cycle:  3rd with a RE

    Timing: IUI

Testing plans: My beta is next week

R/R/CS:  I want to pee on all the sticks. I like watching my HCG trigger shots get lighter and lighter. I am a dork.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career?
Nursing, and yes. I am a nurse. I am one of the few that actually uses their 'degree".
    Thank God for Raid.

    Month/cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 34/13

    Timing: -1 -2 -3 +1

    Testing plans: ED since CD9

R/R/CS: BFNs CD9-CD12 got me more and more bummed each morning. I skipped testing today. My temp is back up and that is good enough for me right now. As long as temps stay up and AF doesn't start, I'll test again probably Thursday.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career? Nursing! And yep, I am a nurse though I'm taking classes to see if I want to career change. I love nursing but I have a hard time with the shifts with a family in mind now.

    CD/DPO: 19/5*

    Timing: -5, -2, -1, O, +1

Testing plans: Friday at the earliest. I should wait until Monday or when AF is due. But realistically... I'll probably cave.

R/R/CS: Pretty sure I've got an infection. Apparently my body wasn't a big fan of that much sex in a week. And is letting me know. I hate going to the doctor. But I'll be giving her a call today.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career?
I only did a year of college before staying home to have a baby. But I was doing my midwifery pre-requisites. I'm a stay at home mom and homesteader. Not sure if you'd say it's related. :)

R/R/CS: I'm tired of the people around me who know I'm TTC trying to get me to pee on things. I've been super nauseous lately so my DH keeps saying I'm pregnant, not how it works since I'm only 5DPO. Does anyone else's prenatals make them pukey? I did search this but didn't find anything recent. That's what I think it is but I've been taking them at night and it usually hits me in the afternoon. It could also be coming off my IUD and hormonal changes.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career?
Social Work, and yes. I am a case manager for persons with intellectual disabilities.

This makes me want to rant again. Told my mom/sis I think I ovulated friday, and when we talked about the weekend I mentioned I was very low energy and sleepy, their first comment: "you're pregnant!" like ummm no, I don't even know for sure if I ovulated and now have to survive my first LP without AF sneaking in... they have no idea how it works. Crazy how we have to elect to learn about our bodies. These are women who a) know I really want this to work out and should be more sensitive and b) women who've had babies. Shouldn't they know better than to SS 2 DPO?? Answer is no. They have no clue how the menstrual cycle works in relation to fertility. *sigh*

ETA: my sister in law also texted me this morning asking how her baby's cousin is doing. (as in my unborn child). I was like "what?? did you have a dream I was pregnant and confused it with real life?" and she was like "just checking!" WTF!!!! MAD regrets yo.

    CD/DPO: 26/15

    Timing: ED / EOD

Testing plans: another BFN a few minutes ago. AF should have came today.

R/R/CS: I hate how when you buy only a HPT at the dollar tree and the cashier asks what results you are hoping for. Like its any of your business, miss total stranger.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career?

I went to Tennessee Tech for 2 years and Nashville State for 1 year. I was going for my RN but both times life got in the way. Someday I plan to go back to school, but this time I may just get my LPN instead of my RN. I enjoy my career as a CNA. But have every intention of climbing the ladder.

Yes! Since I confirmed ovulation and we did it on the day of we haven't been intimate since and I don't think we will be til BFP or after AF comes. Trying to do it EOD is definitely a chore for us, I would be happy with once a week or maybe twice a week.

I'm glad it's not just me. I only shared with my BFF but I swear she is SS like crazy if I say anything is going on or I feel badly. I think next cycle I'll just avoid telling her about stuff to see if it's better.

Yup. I'm done. Lol. But also because I'm pretty sure I have a YI. Blah.

Any favorite effective home remedies? I don't go in until the 20th. And AF is due the 19th, btw, according to my app.
  • My first TWW post! I hope I'm actually in the TWW since this is only my second cycle off BCP and my first cycle charting so I'm not exactly sure what is going on.

    Month/cycle: 5/2

    CD/DPO: 42/3

    Timing: -1/+1

Testing plans: I will try and wait until at least 15 DPO, which would be a few days before Thanksgiving. I keep imagining getting to tell my parents at Thanksgiving dinner that I'm pregnant, I need to stop that, haha.

R/R/CS:  I got crosshairs (dotted) for the first time just this morning. Waiting to see what temps the next few days give me to be sure. My cervical position seems to support that I O'd when FF thinks I did but I know that is not foolproof. My last cycle was 83 days so even if nothing happens this month I will just be happy if it is shorter than that.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career? I studied Molecular Biology and I now work for a large Biotech company. Yay science!

    TTC #1: July 2015
  • Month/cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 35/13

    Timing: -1 -3

Testing plans: Tested on Saturday, before drinking. It was negative, on a frer. Not feeling super hopeful, but we'll see if AF shows up in the next few days! I plan on waiting until tomorrow, one way or the other.

R/R/CS:  My best girlfriends came up this weekend for some much needed girl time! Heeeey shopping.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career? I have my associates in photography, and I worked as a photographer for 7 years. I have a B.S. in managing information systems, and am pursing my MBA in Managing for Sustainability. I work as an office manager in a financial firm, so I use my degree.

  • @megstervt We'll hope to see your update in the TTGP graduates. Congrats!

  • Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO:
    39/ Who knows any more

    Timing: EOD

    Testing plans: This morning. BFN

R/R/CS:  Alright... I know "you're regular until you're not" is the saying around here, but I have to voice my frustrations. I have had a super regular cycle, basically my entire life. Like down to the hour regular. So, AF was due today, and it usually happens in the early morning. Well I wake up this morning, completely delighted that she hasn't shown. I run to the bathroom to take a test BFN. Wtf! So apparently my cycle is regular until I start TTC and want it to be regular. And of course this is our first month, so I haven't started temping yet. Now I'm just sitting over here in the land of unknown.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career? Well after high school I went to beauty school and worked as a hair stylist for several year. I didn't really like it. Mostly because of the uncertainty and I was bored. Now I'm trying to get my bachelors online. Slowly.

    CD/DPO: 22/4

    Timing: -4, -1

Testing plans: Next Tuesday will be 12 DPO. I can wait that long I can wait that long.

R/R/CS: It is too early for symptom spotting. I just have a feeling this TWW is really going to drag. Last chance for a BFP before Thanksgiving!

@Ally989 I totally understand this! I was always very regular too. Then during our 3rd month TTC I started temping all excited to start learning about my body and I ended up O'ing about a week later then I typically do (didn't know that at the time) and I starting freaking out because I thought that meant my LP was going to be like 6 days. Then I got my period a week later ( took 3 tests in that time). After my whole chart was complete (and now compared against current charts)... I see I just so happen to O a week late. So frustrating that my first time temping that it happened.... so yea I get ya!

ETA: This is why I am so happy I starting temping. Now I'll know if I O late and know when my period is actually late! Learning my LP has been so helpful!

  • ****Question****
Sorry! I already posted my daily entry, then had a question, but didn't want to start a new SS thread!

So Dr. Google, of course, has convinced me that I experience corpus luteum cysts nearly every month. Anybody else have pressure/pain in one ovary for about a week after ovulation? It seems to be worse when I sit down/bend at the waist and during sex.
It happens on either side monthly, and the pressure/pain is always gone by the time AF shows up.
I've had a non-functional cyst that I had to have surgically removed before I was on BC, and it feels very similar, but that one never went away.
Anyone else with any experience with these? Think this is worth an office visit, or harmless?

    hello everyone!

    *** loss mentioned ***

Month/cycle: 2/2-- (early miscarriage in December and I just couldn't bear to try again for a while)

    CD/DPO: 24/5

    Timing: -3, 0, +1

Testing plans: according to FF it says I should wait until the 17th.. I'm doing my best to wait. Although I feel I'm out this month. My CM wasn't like it usually is. So I'm not sure how correct my OPK was.

R/R/CS: Finally had my preconception visit. She said to see her in August if I'm still not pregnant. But the fact that I miscarried shows I am able to get pregnant. Keeping it is a different story.... The good news is, she's impressed by how I'm doing everything right

GTKY: I went to school for nursing. Although I have my days, I absolutely love what I do.
  • Cd1 for me. DH had my beer ready for me when I got home. I truly hope no one else is getting as drunk as me tonight. Good luck everyone!
  • Month/cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 29/14

    Timing:-4, -3, -2, and -1

Testing plans: tomorrow if AF doesn’t show

R/R/CS:  I have a lot of cramping throughout the day but no AF.  I have also had a lot of discharge today.  I have never had this before.  Do any of you ladies get this before AF shows up?  I am still staying hopeful though.

GTKY: What did you study in school (post secondary) and is it in any way related to your career?  I am currently working on my Bachelors in Accounting.  I worked in Finance while in the military and continue to do it as a civilian working for the government.  I love working with numbers.
