  • To be fair, I don't have a life today. DH is on the playstation and we only have 1 tv... and I'm also avoiding cleaning and grading poorly written essays.

Also, I just have to say that I have a hard time believing someone had to get up to pee 14 times in one night. My max is 5 and that's because I drank 2 huge glasses of water about 2 hours before bed.

Holy hormonal outbursts, ladies! I get we're at the freakout point of pregnancy, but, can't we all just be friends and get along? We're going through the same things together & I'm sure we're ALL having trouble rolling out of bed throughout the night/morning. Let's all just laugh and move on. *Deep breaths* Positivity <3

ETA - I've been feeling like a whale and can hardly gain enough momentum to roll out of bed. I have to grasp onto the poor bassinet to brace myself up. DH is gonna have to tighten the bolts on it...again.

I'm honestly not trying to stir the pot here or attack you personally. I just want to put this out there in regards to how I see blaming of hormones. Just because we are pregnant, doesn't make us hormonal messes. Some women just disagree and such is life. That's part of what makes life interesting. If every agreed and felt the same about everything, life would be so dull. I really hate when anyone blames a woman's feelings or arguments or outbursts on hormones. Whether it's during pregnancy or someone saying "wow, she must be pmsing." To me, it's a way to diminish our feelings or ideas. And I do agree with you that we're all struggling to roll our bodies out of bed. I myself have a 3 step process I have to prepare myself for every time.
Uh, I was stating that as a joke... Have a great day ya'll.

I blame all of the negative views people have about pregnant women on people who throw the "hormonal" excuse out at the slightest provocation, even if joking. Doing that makes it okay for men and other people to discredit the opinions of pregnant women just because of "hormones." I may be pregnant, but I am not a loose cannon lunatic who can't control herself. Just FYI, I have been pregnant since March and haven't had one single hormonal or emotional moment, because I am in control of my actions. Don't discredit mine and others opinions with the lamest excuse ever just because you disagree with it.

I don't like blaming everything on hormones, but I can't say that I haven't had any hormonal or emotional moments during pregnancy that I would've had without being pregnant. Sometimes I cry for seemingly no reason or feel very irritated or impatient. Some women do have these things happen, but it can be different for everyone, I suppose.

I tried to be nice to the op because I really didn't feel like being called a bully but she seems to be in a bitchy mood. I understand that because I also have a hard time sleeping and am not well rested after getting up to pee in the night. However her reaction to someone questioning the point of her post was rude. Her post has no value and is ridiculous. Hormones is not an excuse for being rude. With the way she came back it is clear that to me that lack of sleep is not the problem either. Her attitude got in the way.

Edit because auto correct is stupid
