A quick google search :) if you really feel nervous, call your on-call Doctor

Vaginal discharge should be normal to you now, if you are in second tri (since you're posting it in this board). I have plenty and I'm 14 weeks.

What the PP said. Definitely not ER worthy. Vaginal discharge continues to change all throughout pregnancy.
  • Thanks...it subsided all dsy and is back again just nerve racking
  • Lurking from third tri**

This has been common for me in both my pregnancies. It can be discharge, or even bits of your plug. I often notice it a few days after intercourse. It's my body's way of cleaning itself, but I also have lost bits of my plug throughout pregnancy (it grows back and as long as there is no bleeding or fluid loss this isn't an issue.) wait till you next appointment and bring it up to your doctor. They will most likely also tell you it's normal.
  • certainly dont need to go to the ER over this. brown blood/discharge is usually not overly concerning. however, if you're vey concened, a quick visit/call to your OB wouldn't hurt.
start getting used to the extra discharge tho. you can thank increased blood flow down there for that.
  • I'm to the point of wearing "light days" pads every day because of discharge. Le sigh.
