Post your latest baby diy project

Anyone have a recent diy project they're super proud of?  I made baby headbands. :)

    What are you ladies using as the top base of the mobile??
    I've made all the little hanging pieces for mine but am at a loss as to how to hang it.
    Suggestions pretty please?

    I'm using the inside ring of an embroidery hoop.  I've wrapped the embroidery hoops in yarn.  I'm actually doing two tiers for mine.  The smaller top tier will have elephant and heart felt cut outs coming down the length of the strings.  The wider lower tier will have elephant stuffies hanging down.  I plan to eventually cut the stuffies off and use them as toys for my LO after she's out of the mobile stage.

    That's a good idea.
    I'm also doing elephants and shapes and would love it to be two tiered.

    Just finished these little slippers!
    I'm fairly new to sewing so I'm really excited that these came out pretty decent :)
    Also have 1 cradle fitted sheet made, but want to get at least a couple more done. (I've attempted 3. Lol.)
    And these dorky little toys. I tried <:-P

    @drowe214 Check out danamadeit.com! They are so easy and only need 2 yards of fabric. So now whenever I find cute fabric, I'm making sheets - probably way more than we actually need. ;)

    I made the mobile, her name, the blanket, and the pillow (the pillow is actually for the rocking chair). Also made a headband holder, bow holder, mini closet, and misc decorations but don't have pics of those on my phone. :)

    I skipped most of the replies so sorry if this has already been answered... but how many STMs are doing DIY stuff for baby? I cannot seem to find the time!

    I am, but for most of them my girls (9 and 10) are involved too.  We painted frames together and they've cut out felt pieces for me.  This weekend we'll all finish the mobile together.  My mother has also helped me make a crib skirt.  If it was just me working on it, there's no way in hell it would be done.  lol.

    Maybe it has something to do with my first being 19-months-old! She is very interested in helping but I'm like thanks no thanks. Lol.

    This will be our fourth child and I've been hand making for babethe entire time. It was easier in the summer obviously, so that was when I made the quilt and a couple outfits. I also crochet, which I can do in bits and pieces when I have time (hats, blankets, stuffed animals). We homeschool, so any sewing I do now is either while the kids work independently, after our school day is finished, on weekends, or when I can't sleep. For me, handmade is my happy place and my therapy, so I have to make time for it!

    My mobile finally came together!  It took a while and went through a couple of different transformations before I finally decided to go this direction with it.  Everything else I tried just looked too busy.

    I made a decorative boxes for random baby things to go on open shelving with some scrapbook paper and diaper boxes.

    Finally, some cute frames I made into a gallery wall for Bridget's room.  My girls helped paint the frames and pick out the colors.

    I got an Ergo on Zulily a while back so I made a couple sets of drool pads for it. Super easy, found the pattern online.
