Travel Health Insurance

Hello ladies!

I'm traveling to Germany next week. Just checked into insurance provider over there for BCBS. The next OBGYN is pretty far. Thinking about buying travel health insurance. Does anyone have experience with this, can recommend something?

    Have you talked to your own insurance company? Most already cover your health if you travel. You'll still probably need to pay out of pocket, but you can get reimbursed.

    Yes, I did. The problem is the next OBGYN for BCBS is so far away from where I stay. I wish it would be closer. At least with travel health insurance I can pick something close

    I've never looked into it but what is the cost and how long will you be there? This early in the game I wouldn't be as concerned (unless you've had complications, etc) and may not want to spend the money if it's expensive. That's just me though, do what is comfortable for you!
