Im just over 22 weeks now and baby seems to wake up around 9pm and kicks ALOT until early morning which make it difficult to fall asleep. Anybody else?
I feel my baby most at night and when I wake up in the morning too. I've read all the movement during waking hours can rock them to sleep, so I guess when we are being still at bedtime, it feels like partytime in utero.
Yes and be prepared for them to be on the same schedule when they are born. It takes a while before they want to sleep at night and stay up some during the day.
Same here. Baby is definitely most active at night. Felt like he was bouncing of one side like he was on a trampoline last night! I think maybe the movement of walking around all day is rythmic enough to keep him asleep all day? But he still kicks me around 10:30-11 near lunch time as if to say "I'm hungry, feed me!" Another teacher at my school said she slept in a recliner the last few months because her DD wouldn't stop kicking all night and it allowed her to sleep better.
Apparently both of my babies have been like this, but I've always slept through their nighttime antics. My husband, on the other hand, says that the babies keep him awake at night . . . to which I say, move your hand off my belly then! Cracks me up that he can't fall asleep because he's too distracted by the circus in my uterus.
I think it's partly because you are most still and notice the movement the most at night. My poor baby is all out of 'schedule' now because I'm up all.night.long coughing which I can tell keeps her awake. We still have 18 weeks to hopefully get on a better schedule but I'm not holding my breath. It's kind of nice to have the company when I'm up all night though
