Waiting....

So our EM is getting me all anxious the last couple days.  She is really feeling like she has more than one growing in there.  I will be thrilled if it's twins but I can't stand waiting for the first US visit.  Our appointment isn't until Nov 25!  She has an intake tomorrow scheduled with the nurse but that's just a phone consultation to get all the information and what not.  How do I pass the time??

Me (34): DOR d/t chemo/radiation, Immature Endometrial Lining, Hypothyroidism
DH (35): MFI d/t testicular torsion and removal, Low T, Oligospermia, Anti-Sperm Antibodies, Currently on T supplements
Sept '11-April '13 ~  Testing, failed multiple MFI treatments, saving & TONS of praying
January 2014 ~ IVF/ICSI & PGS ~ no response to stims ~ converted to IUI ~ BFN
February 2014 ~ On to donor embyros ~ 5 blasts!!! 
March 2014 ~ FET #1 ~ Transferred 2 blasts ~ BFN
July 2014 ~ Kliman's mock cycle with endometrial function test
Sample too small for EFT, HE slide showed immature cells
New protocol planned, saving for another biopsy for EFT
January 2015 ~ Considering adoption options
April 2015 ~ Privately arranged adoption of planned pregnancy
DD#1 ~ Lillyana Violet Marie born 6/15/16, Finalized adoption 12/20/16
July 13, 2018 ~ BFP....WTF?!?!
7/16 Beta #1 ~ 466...7/18 Beta #2 ~ 1,077...7/23 Beta #3 ~ 5,291
7/23 US #1 ~ 1 gestational sac seen and yolk sac
7/30 US #2 and 1st OB appt ~ 1 perfectly round gestational sac, 1 perfect yolk sac and 1 teeny tiny heart beat seen!!!

    The waiting is definitely difficult. I have my first Drs appt tomorrow but am 99% sure it won't include an u/s...I just want confirmation that my LO is growing & healthy. I've been trying to take it one day at a time. Each day that passes brings us one day closer to the next appointment.
    I'm excited to hear more about your journey. Keep us updated! :)

    Thr waiting is for sure the hardest part; especially for that first appointment!! For whatever reason, reading books or watching movies that have nothing to do with pregnancy helps me!!

    Maybe that's my problem, I'm been reading everything regarding pregnancy and babies!  I don't know if I could stop at this point.  I'm nervous because based off her LMP she'll be 9w4d by the first appointment.  Should I be concerned that it's so far out?

    I wouldn't be concerned. A lot of doctors won't even see women until they are 8 and sometimes even 12 weeks. I know it's hard to not be anxious. I just try to stay as busy as possible! I'm curious what has her thinking she has multiples?

    There's a lot of doctors who won't see you until 12 weeks, so I wouldn't be concerned that she is being seen at 9w4d. Best way to pass the time is to find a non-baby hobby, its gonna be a long 8 or so months of lots of waiting. I'm already picking out quilt patterns to make, the more complex the better, so when I get into the 2nd half, I've got something to keep me occupied and not just counting down the days.

    My doctor won't see me until 8 weeks... The waiting is the hardest part but do try to find other things to pass your time! You're in good company here we are all anxious!!

    She is convince, although I'm not at all, she says it runs in her family.  She's also having much more intense symptoms than her first pregnancy.  I know that doesn't mean anything but until we get the US, she's making me anxious anyways.

    @Love4Labs326 I would totally be anxious too! I thought for a while last time I was having twins. Twice on the Doppler there were two distinct heartbeats at a different rate (both were too high to be mine) but I only have one super busy boy! Keep us posted :)
