He's here!

Just wanted to touch in and say that our son has arrived!!  Last Tuesday night, (while watching the Voice), my water broke!  I was due November 6, so was a bit unexpected.  Needless to say, we rushed to the hospital and after 24 hours of labor--including 4 hours of pushing (literally!), I ended up having a c-section as my pelvis is apparently not big enough to deliver vaginally.  Was quite the labor & delivery but after all, I cannot express the love I have for our little boy, Kieran.  He was born healthy & happy--8lb1oz and 21.5 inches at 8:04PM on Wednesday, October 28 2015!!  There truly is no greater love in life than that of having a child.  Thank you all for your help along the way and be assured, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!!  It's SO worth it--every part of it so don't worry too much!  We all can do it:)

    I love seeing birth stories, thank you for sharing yours here where I can comment on it!!! Were you having contractions before your water broke? I'm 37 weeks and I'm nervous I won't recognize labor...

    Nope i want having contractions...so it really was out of the blue! The contractions started maybe an hour later at the hospital, but at first they just felt like Braxton hicks. I was worried i wouldn't recognize labor either but when my water broke...it BROKE lol....as in didn't stop gushing...was quite the embarrassing walk up to L&D lol! I really think you will know, however it happens :) Best of luck to you...keep us posted!
