Mashed potatoes & gravy!!! Yum!! We go to my in laws & then my fam & I usually help cook at my aunts. However, I have this weird thing where if I cook it I don't want to eat it at all... Praying that goes away before thanksgiving!! If not I'll be eating bland bread rolls
Dear nausea, We are breaking up & don't ever come back! No love, Amanda
We do thanksgiving at DH's parents house. My son is contact allergic to what seems like all food. MIL always goes out of her way to make food safe for him though. I'll make a couple of side dishes that contain no unsafe ingredients but are still yummy. I'm most excited for mashed potatoes. We are also announcing our pregnancy a few days before so I'm super excited for that!
My parents will be gone so that leaves us with DHs mother and his grandparents. GMIL cooks most everything but food just doesn't sound good at all these days. The last two pregnancies have been survived without meat for the most part (not by choice but because I can't stand the smell) and I think this one will too. No turkey but I will eat all the dressing and cranberry sauce!!!

Oh! I should add that I get two Thanksgivings. We host my parents, siblings, and DH's extended family on Thursday, and then go to my aunt's house on Friday to celebrate with my extended family. It's pretty awesome.
I'm thinking Cornish hens with traditional sides like mac & cheese, greens, cornbread dressing and red skin mash potatoes. My stepmom is making sweet potato pie. I haven't cooked thanksgiving dinner in a couple years so I'm nervous.
