Mucus plug/EPO discharge question (TMI)

So I went for my second sweep app yesterday and was told I am not dilated at all, so MW was unable to do it. When she was done I wiped and there were crumbly white/reddish bits. I decided since nothing is happening but I am 40+3 days, I would start evening primrose tablets. I inserted two at night into my vagina and found more crumble bits on my finger. This morning more of it and thick whitish/yellow slime. (Mucus plug?) so two questions:
Anyone experienced the white crumble?
I heard that the EPO tablets leak out. I don't think mine did, or was the slimy discharge the EPO, or was it finally my mucus plug? Sorry about this being so gross, but I really want to know and couldn't find anything online...

    I have been having mucus plug come out in pieces for about two weeks. It looks exactly like it sounds. Like mucus. Kinda long and stringy and snot like. Tonight I had the bloody show and lost my whole mucus plug that was blood tinged.

    I also have had spotting and discharge after cervical checks and my ob sweeping my membranes. This discharge looked a little different. More like what I see at the end of a period and kinda thicker pieces of clearish or blood tinged discharge.

    So I would guess you are maybe just spotting and having discharge from a cervical check. Keep in mind they use lubrication to check you so that could be coming back out as well. I haven't used EPO so no advice there. Good luck!!
