We have our annual inventory count this weekend at work, which I head. Looking at my reports to prep this morning, and the numbers aren't pulling in correctly AND another division is pulling in under mine as well. We just went to a new system in July, which had more than its fair share of bugs to deal with. I'm blaming this entirely on the new system not functioning how it should.

The really bad part? There's no way this is going to be fixed by this weekend. I'm just going to have to "figure something out". We are a global Multi-billion dollar company and that's your best advice?! You can F right off then

  • EVERYTHING!!!!  With my last pregnancy, the hormones made me super weepy, I cried at everything!  This time, I'm just super bitchy!!  Pretty much everything my husband does right now makes me mad!  At one point I told him that it was disgusting that he didn't care more about our son then to give him a sucker and let him run around with it.  While I still believe our 1 year old shouldn't run around with suckers in his mouth, I may have gone a little overboard!!  I was also pissy with my IL's who constantly give my kid candy and let him drink out of their drinks!  Who does that ???  It's hard enough to keep him from getting every illness at daycare without them giving him all of their old people germs!  Gross!!  See, super bitchy!
  • I really miss having an appetite and getting excited to eat delicious food! :( Have been feeling a little nauseous but mostly just having food aversions to EVERYTHING. Blah!

I have the same issue with the germ issue with my 1 year old. I just keep telling myself he'll hardly ever be sick in a couple years because he will have an awesome immune system!

  • I painted our living room and entry way two weekends ago, and have now decided that I don't like the color and cannot get used to it. So now I need to re-paint. I've got the new colors picked out with the help of my sister, but I hate that I'm spending more money on something that I've already done.
  • Someone in my office brought in leftover Halloween candy which is awesome. When I opened my bag of Cheetos one flew out and fell on the floor. I'm angry and annoyed because it's just a tiny bag and I wanted to eat every single last one of them, lol.

same. my two year old does really gross stuff. I have had to ask her to stop licking the floor, stop trying to eat the dog food, don't put rocks in your mouth, etc. To date, she's been sick maybe once. And it was a minor cold. So, to make myself feel better, I'm attributing it to her solid immune system ;)
  • I'm hosting a baby shower for my SIL on Sunday and I had like 8 people out of 35 RSVP.  Ugh.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI!
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

That cracked me up!!  Especially the licking the floor!!

That stinks. A friend and I co-hosted a baby shower in April. All but 2 people RSVP'ed to the honoree, instead of US as the invitations clearly stated. WTF is wrong is people? Hopefully you'll get some late replies soon for your SIL!
  • @jaceyannie yup, I got pissy with the in-laws this weekend they showed up at 9 Halloween night, because they had other plans. We had guests over for the night (my parents) and everyone was ready for bed at 10. And they wouldn't leave. Not cool. My pregnant ass needed sleep ASAP. I started turning lights off around the house lol. But no issues with DH. He knows I just need to sleep and let's me do just that. Ah. Hormones.

    Mine:

All the food makes me sleepy. Yawn. I want my bed.

My IL's are exactly the same!!  The day after I gave birth, they came to the hospital and stayed for THREE HOURS!!! At some point my FIL says "You look exhausted, just close your eyes and rest"  while they stayed!!  Then they day after we came home from the hospital, they brought us dinner, stayed and ate, watched TV while DH and I cleaned up and then took home the leftovers!! I could go on and on, they're the worst!!

  • WORK!  Not in the mood to type the explanation for my annoyance, but work... always work.

And why is it that all of these symptoms show up in the first trimester when nobody knows?  At least I can just say "I feel like crap" and people assume that I have the beginnings of the flu and I don't get any extra questions...

DH keeps saying we need to train the dog to stop licking the floor because when the baby comes, they're going to learn to lick the carpet and floor from the dog. I couldn't be bothered, it means I have to vacuum less because he gets up all the crumbs and like people said, solid immune system for baby! :/

If baby learns from the dogs, licking the floor is the LEAST of my concerns...

My in laws invited my brother in laws girlfriend on our Christmas getaway vacation, and she is just awful.  Like, truly a bad person.

Just as an example- she puts a service vest on her BIG dog so that she can bring her dog everywhere (like in an airplane in the seat next to her- not even in a crate, and the dog flies free) despite the fact the her dog is NOT a service dog at all- this dog hasn't been to so much as even a puppy training class and is very badly behaved.  Anyway, her dog started getting so nervous on the plane that it pooped right on the seat- and she's taking her dog with her next week on another flight and doing the exact same thing. She told me that she flat out lies to the airline about her dog being a service animal, and she just laughed about it when she explained to me how she went about it. This is so disrespectful to everyone else to is forced to sit near her and her pooping dog, not to mention so disrespectful to people with disabilities with ACTUAL service dogs.

Anyway, this is just ONE example of the reasons I dislike her and now that she will be vacationing with us during xmas I'm thinking of backing out.  I don't know if I'm going to make it through this vacation without blowing my top.

Ugh, that's awful! I would love to bring my dog everywhere with me but I can't.  People with service dogs have them to serve a valid disability.  No disability, no service dog.  I feel bad for whoever booked the seat the dog pooped on for the next flight as well as all the other people in the cabin with the smell of dog poop. It's because of people like her that people with valid service animals have problems bringing their animals into establishments.

I know!  And I love my dog too- but not enough to justify being a jerk to other people

  • I am hiding my pregnancy from work for as long as possible, so no one has any idea right now.

I work on a hallway with about 8 women, we share one small bathroom at the end of the hall, that happens to be next to my office (one would think that this would be convenient given MS and frequent pee breaks) but there is an older nosy woman who sits in the office across from mine whose office door faces mine & the bathroom... she literally watches how many times a day I use the restroom... whats worse... a few months ago she was telling a story about how she knew when another woman had been pregnant on our floor because "i could see her ass growing every time she got up to go to the bathroom" so now I'm SUPER self conscious about weight gain, and frequency to the bathroom before she finds me out! I have enough to stress about... I really don't need this added scrutiny all day long.

  • I'm sick of being sick! Last week I didn't think I was going to make it :( I've resorted on my days off just doing nothing but laying downs. When I start moving and is when I start feeling ill.
  • Daylight savings time + work travel to a different time zone + pregnancy brain. I have no effin' clue what time it is.
