Curious how many of you are finding out what you'll be having via blood tests or sonograms during your pregnancy, and who is waiting till delivery?
It's always been the tradition in my family that we don't find out ahead of time and it's a surprise at birth. As much anticipation as I'm going to have over the next 8 months or so wanting to know, I'll be keeping that tradition!
So many of my friends/people in my life have found out ahead of time, waiting seems to be almost unusual now, so I'm curious what all of your opinions/plans are!

Although I agree it would be nice to know the gender for clothes and nursery themes, I just have to wait!

For me to know she was a she made it so REAL. We talked to her by name and read her stories each night from week 20 on. It was so special to picture her in our minds listening to our voices.

Also I work at a small rural hospital and I occasionally help deliver babies and I have seen parents expecting one gender and them guess wrong and the baby is the other! Whoops!
Ideally, I'd wait until I looked down at the baby on my chest and saw for myself.
I think I have changed my tune & will find out! I'm over 35 so I will get the genetic testing at about 10wks.
