Anyone hit the 9 week mark this week?

How's everyone feeling at 9 weeks?

Baby has matured from an embryo-Super excited to have an actual fetus this week! My symptoms have majorly subsided, just trying to remain patient until the next OB appt at 12 weeks. Then we can spill the beans to the rest of the world!

  • I'm 9 weeks 1 day, and I'm so excited :) I ordered a fetal Doppler and its coming today! I have some sore boobs, on and off nausea, food is still kind of a chore, bloated.
Are you having any cramping? I am, but no bleeding, so I think it's just my uterus growing.
Also last night I was short of breath, so I laid down, and I could feel my heart pounding like crazy.
    Oh and lazy sooooo lazy
  • I'm 9 weeks tomorrow! Reflux is subsiding, still quite tired and have headaches. But nausea is easing up a lot! I just wish I could get rid of these headaches. They're killing me
  • 9w. Still exhausted. Appetite is still funky. Found out it may be partially due to my low thyroid issues.

Found the heartbeat on Wednesday with the home Doppler...

  • 9 weeks as of yesterday! My exhaustion is a bit less, still kind of queasy, but not puking so that's nice I guess. It is exciting that my embryo is now a fetus. Gosh, this thing might just turn into a real baby.

9 weeks 2 days. I just want to eat junk food or salads. Im trying so hard to keep up my exercise routine...yet...squishy belly. Hello second pregnancy.

Also super excited to be closing in on the end of the first tri. Will be a relief. Mostly I feel fortunate that I feel pretty good.

  • I'm 9w2d today. Soooooofreakingtired. And unless I eat every 90 mins, I get nauseous. 4 more weeks, 4 more weeks.
  • I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow (my due date got pushed back 3 days at my appointment) and I've puked like 4 times a day for the past 2 days. Not sure if it's MS or stress though.

  • I'm 9 weeks 1 day. Just found out on Wednesday that I'm a few days ahead (thought I was 8 weeks, 5 days) and am so happy to be even a few days closer to being out of this crazy nauseous period! I thought it was getting a little better, until the vomit fairy came out of nowhere today! Other than that I'm just exhausted and so lazy!
  • I will be 9 weeks on Monday!
My nausea is pretty bad, but ms for me didn't start until 7 weeks. I have an appointment on Tuesday, I hope I get to see the little bean or at least hear a heartbeat!

  • 9+1 today and I'm so glad there is a light at the end of the first trimester tunnel! I have not been feeling well at all and I'm SO looking forward to being able to eat again and having the energy to get back to the gym!
  • I'll be 9 weeks on Monday as well. Got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat yesterday, so I'm still so pumped about that! I had some bleeding over the weekend, and that plus previous miscarriage made my Dr suggest an us. Most of my ms has gone, although I start getting naseous if I go too long between meals. Still really tired, but just so thankful that all my numbers look good and we got to hear that strong little heartbeat!!
  • I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. Saturday? Is it weird I haven't had any morning sickness? I've had nausea but no actually throw up. Im worried something might be wrong. These next 3 weeks need to hurry up for my next appointment!
  • @BabyBuddy15 I wouldn't worry about not puking. I literally never puked once with dd. Just consider yourself lucky.

  • I'm 9+3... feeling better MS wise. I haven't vomited in a week now, but still get nauseous if I'm hungry. On/ off uterus 'growing pains' type cramps, big boobs that vary in soreness and I'm pretty tired.
I had an ultrasound last week, all good.
I've tried my doppler with no luck yet. I seem to remember getting it at 10 weeks before.
    Hangin' in there!
  • 9 weeks yesterday. Nausea seems to be letting up slightly, but I'm still really effing tired and constipated. RLP today is fierce. We're almost there! Just a few more weeks until the amazing 2nd tri!

  • I did! 10 monday! so nervous for a scan Tuesday and my first ob appt the 10. (I was seeing a re for meds..)
  • 9 weeks tomorrow (or in a couple of hours). I've been feeling more confident about this pregnancy after having a couple of early ultrasounds. Plus, the constant symptoms are a great reminder. My ultrasound yesterday went amazing. The baby's heart rate is 185 and we even saw it wriggling around.

  • 9 weeks today!

My baby is the size of a delicious olive, lol.

I think I'll appreciate next week's visual, the prune more, because those don't make me want to eat them!
  • I hit 9 weeks on Thursday, great feeling for sure.  I have my first appt next week and they're planning to check for a heartbeat and may even do an ultrasound.  I'm hoping I'll be able to start enjoying this pregnancy a lot more after that.  I'm still on edge just because we haven't even seen the doc yet.

  • 9 weeks today! I had my first appointment w/ a dating ultrasound yesterday which pushed my due date up by a few days.

I haven't thrown up all week and haven't experienced any nausea yet this morning, which is awesome! (As someone who was throwing up every other day between weeks 5 and 8 with constant, all day nausea).

The little guy (girl?) wiggled during the ultrasound, and hearing the heartbeat was almost overwhelming... to actually see that little thing inside me was surreal. I can't wait to see him (her?) again in 10 weeks!

  • @RNMegan0711 thanks for quoting me! I couldn't find that thread and was wondering if you responded. :-)

Have you gotten the Doppler yet? It may take 10-15 minutes to find it, if you find it! Don't worry if you can't. :-)

I always start low along the heights of where I imagine my ovaries are - where you would feel cramps. I stay between the two ovaries and move the Doppler extremely slowly in a line between the two ovaries, shifting it in directions pointing from my hip, up toward my stomach, down toward my pubic bone and directed inward. I found mine near my left ovary, with the Doppler pointed centrally.

All worth it though!! Can't wait to hit 12 weeks and have our next ultrasound

Haha np! Thanks for writing back! I seem to find my own heart beat really well in those areas but haven't been able to distinguish the babies. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and we haven't tried in a few days so I may try again tomorrow. :)

You should! Stick to the ovary areas. And move slow. You'll find it! And is over twice as fast as your own, so you'll know when you find it. :-)

  • I'm 9 weeks tomorrow- feeling less fatigue, but still pretty gross.
  • 9 weeks 3 days today.

The MS hit me from the day I found out I was pregnant (3w 1d). Vomiting multiple times per day, including at work, which is never fun. Finally started diclectin on Monday though which does help, although I still get vomity at times. I can finally keep food down though, horray!
Also I must say, despite their tenderness, I am loving these boobs! Haha.
All my other symptoms show no sign of giving up any time soon, exhaustion, lack of appetite, belching worse than a man, oh the list goes on and on.
I'm still relatively cheerful though, if me being sick means baby gets to be cozy and healthy then so be it!

  • 9+4, Still nauseous and exhausted. Only craving cheesy, carby foods. Baby's first half marathon yesterday (My 18th). Running is the only thing that makes me feel better!
  • 9 weeks 3 days! My symptoms have subsided as well. My boobs are still so sore and I'm pretty shaky and tired but nausea has taken a break. Waiting til November 19 for my 12 week ultrasound and we'll spill the beans!!

I'll let you know how it goes! I was reading up on it and it sounds like I'm hearing the blood flowing in the placenta. Idk how much truth to that there is but that would make sense. I'm hearing tons of loud wooshing sounds over my right ovary region lol.

Also, do you know how safe it is to use frequently? I know that dopplers create the sounds that they make by radiating a high frequency tone....I just want to make sure this isn't unsafe for me to use daily/every other day? I try to only use for a max of 10 min or so.

  • 9 wk+ 2 This is my third pregnancy and the nausea is hitting me hard this time around. I also feel like my belly, back, and boobs are warmer then the rest of my body!?!? I'm going to mention it to my doc at the next appt. I can not wait to get to the second trimester......hanging in their!!
  • I'm 9 weeks today!! :)
The nausea that I had in the earlier weeks turned into actual vomiting this week. My boobs aren't as sore but definitely a lot bigger. And finally the blump is getting to the point that I had to go buy some new clothes.
    But I'm loving it
  • 9 weeks and 3 days today! felt great this morning when I woke up for work. (I am almost wondering if its because of the time change...) Anyway, I am still constantly hungry and craving an olive garden salad and a loading baked potato.
