Papillary thyroid cancer... This one made me rethink even having biological children. We almost decided to try adoption bc of this. But doc has said that medulary thyroid cancer is usually genetic and papillary, not so much. But I feel like I will never forgive myself if our child ends up with this...

I would like to pass on my feet to a little girl. Any dancers reading this? you know what I'm talkin bout!!! I have great feet. I loved how my dance teachers went on and on about them and I didn't even have to work for them.... They're just... Mine:) always made me feel super special!! Watch... We will end up with a boy with super feminine feet... Ugh. Lol.
Hubs is an engineering whiz kid... Math, logistics, computer junk..... I totally want my kid to have that brain. I do not what future child though to inherit his ADHD...

  • Your trait you want to pass on:
Genetics-wise: my feet. I'm sure this is weird, but both my SO and I are weird about feet; we literally can't stand looking at most peoples' feet. But, we both agree that my feet are gorgeous. Yeah, weird. It's something we totally bonded over when we first got together, though!
General traits-wise: my family values. DH values his immediate family, but not so much anyone after that. And I know this is an upbringing-thing, but I want that to pass on.

Your trait you DON'T want to pass on:
Genetics-wise: my battle with depression which links to,
General-wise: my battle with my weight.

SO's trait you want to pass on:
Genetics-wise: his face; he has a baby face with these gorgeous eyes, and I love his nose and the little pigmented part of his bottom lip. He's so freaking adorable.
    General-wise: his hard-working attitude.

SO's trait you DON'T want to pass on:
Genetics-wise: alcoholism; it runs in his family bad. It's not purely a genetic problem, I understand this, but it's obviously something his family can bring to the table.
General-wise: his over hard-working attitude. Sometimes he spends too much time working and it takes away from the family-aspect.

    My Ovulation Chart

  • Your genetic trait you want to pass on: my height and my size as a baby- i was really long and thin so easier to give birth to compared to my fatty brother.

Your genetic trait you DON'T want to pass on: My epilepsy (which is genetic wooo), my skin covered in moles and my hyperflexibility (prone to dislocation).

SO's genetic trait you want to pass on: his eyes and blond hair. He was an adorable baby.

SO's trait you DON'T want to pass on: his ankylosing spondylitis (type of rhumatoid arthritis) which is again genetic.

It's funny (in a horrible way) that between us we have so many shitty things we could pass on, but our son passed from a completely different shitty genetic disease (LUTO). The odds are ridiculously rare and it suuucckkks.

Little boy due July 31st 2016
