Re: I WANT SEX.. (rant)

  • So about the grilled cheese. I'm not a fancy cheese person and I'll just slap a slice of Kraft yellow cheese on some bread. I want to know how to make

  • For OP, ive been struggling with the same thing with my hubby ever since I started showing. My advice is complete darkness in the room and wear a sexy loose nighty, and you on top. This makes me feel most comfortable too. If all else fails get him drunk.
  • I had sex yesterday :). Ok TMI I know. When I have a sex dream I just have to have it! First time in 2 weeks. With 3.5 weeks left I am guessing maybe one more time and that's in hopes to help labor! I WILL use my husband :)

Grilled ham and cheese all the way!!
  • Oh talking about sex..... The first time after having baby is always the best for me. I can totally go a while without but after waiting 5-6 weeks after baby I WANT it, it's always been pretty satisfying to. Just wait until you're ready though! With my first I think it was almost 2 months because of internal stitches.
  • so aside from not having a sex life,
i'm more interested on making brownies. or cookies.
    maybe both.

i'm actually not too bothered by the fact that I haven't had sex in Months.
This is for you, girl. https://imgur.com/gallery/6mOohUx
  • My husband and I have sex almost everyday.

TMI TIME: Just yesterday we did it 3 times! :\">

Although he does get scared of going too rough especially since I did have pink discharge for a few hours after we went a little too rough. :|
Definitely masturbate or use a vibrator if your bf doesn't want to even after you've explained to him that there's nothing to worry about. You can't force him if he really doesn't want to...good luck! :D

I am sex starved!!! Doing it yourself only works for so long. :(

    EXACTLY! LOL
  • I mean, sex with food is also an option. They don't need to be mutually exclusive.

      OMG. Dead.
    Do unto others.

I'm a sharp cheddar / fig spread kind of girl. Ghee (clarified butter) gives the bread a super buttery taste.

If you want to go a sweeter route goat cheese and raspberry spread is also awesome; grease the pan with coconut oil.

There's a food truck and now brick and mortar in Miami called Ms. Cheezious and they have a crab salad / pepperjack cheddar grilled cheese sandwich that is just about the most amazing thing in the world. They also do a baked cinnamon apple and brie grilled cheese that's pretty fan-flipping tastic.

Other good grilled cheese cheeses include havarti because it's so buttery and creamy.. Oh, and mozzarella for a caprese with tomato jam and basil!

    ... If you can't tell I'm a little obsessed.

Love these suggestions. Fig jam is one of my favorite things.

I love havarti on grilled cheese! With thinly sliced green apple, bacon and a drizzle of honey. The bread is just as important as the internals. Country white goes well with this sandwich combo.

I also love a good quality sourdough with cheddar and Monterey Jack. Dipped in homemade creamy tomato soup.
Guyssss can we have a very serious conversation for a moment. Tomorrow is free food truck day at my company (they do this bi-weekly and being in two different food trucks with 4 total lunch selections). Tomorrow one of the trucks is the Roxy's grilled cheese truck!!!!! This thread was an omen as we just go the email notice on our dining car options! I can only get one entree though... What do I do????? The two options are:

Green Muenster – Muenster cheese, north country bacon, and house made guacamole.

Three Cheese Melt – Vermont cheddar, Fontina, and Muenster cheese.

Most exciting email of my day!

Green Muenster, OMG I'm dying of jealousy over here!

Yeah I'm a Masshole. The food truck primarily serves the Boston/greater Boston area and we Massholes are notorious for naming anything and everything after our sports teams!

    ___ QBF

Green Muenster. NO question. Avocado and cheese are an uncommon but oh-so magical duo.
  • So here's a question, if you have sex everyday and sometimes a few times, do you think that sex would be as affective in helping baby come???

Ya total random thought that just poped in my head after reading a post......
  • I'm with @bowwowbowie - your only real option is to buy the second and have both.
    Me: 28, DH: 40
    Married 9/28/13
    DS born 11/12/15
    EDD 8/13/18
  • My DH and I went out of town this past weekend to hopefully get a little randy but by the time we were done sightseeing, shopping and dinner we were both so tired we just went to bed. We haven't had sex since 20 some weeks otherwise I have just had to take care of myself. My DH says he wants to have sex and he still finds me attractive fat and all but he won't make the move to get things going and I am too big to be the instigator! Good luck, you should just jump on him if you have the energy to.
  • @Elyse1384 the green muenster would be my choice by a landslide!
  • Now I just want better than sex cake..... Omg yum!
  • With extra heath bits!

The way it was explained to me was that things like sex (or spicy food or exercise etc...) won't start labor unless your body is getting close to bring ready. If it's not ready, then the prostaglandins in semen won't soften the cervix, but if the cervix is ready, then prostaglandins can help it along. I've never heard of someone becoming immune to prostaglandins because they had too much sex...
  • ***for both***.

Insert spongebob I NEED IT gif

Only because I can't figure out how to gif...
  • I live in WI so we have like a billion different cheeses and they are all quite cheap but nothing seems to top a slice of Kraft on a grilled cheese.

Most Wisconsinites would probably disown me if they ever heard that. :-$
  • TORTURE!!! Now I am so hungry!!
  • 34 weeks and I am sexually frustrated. I'm trying to be understanding about my boyfriend being nervous. Idk how many times I have to reassure him nothing is gonna happen to the baby. how much longer I can take this... NOT LONG LOL. Bad enough I have to wait the couple weeks after I give birth for the. The once every other week or two weeks isn't cutting it at all!!!

I want it but it's been entirely too painful, TMI but my husband is just "too much" for me to handle when pregnant. Everything hurts lol. It's VERY frustrating, he's super understanding - I on the other hand feel like a crappy wife and wish I could enjoy t
  • TMI but I keep saying there are SO MANY things I want to do to him... When I have some sort of resemblance of my body back. I'm so very excited.
It's just getting more and more uncomfortable.
    SUPER TMI TO FOLLOW:

The last couple times we went for it, there was so much discharge after I was appalled. I don't think he noticed but I went to the bathroom right away and was terrified. Doc says no infection or nada and its "normal".

I HATE THE WORD NORMAL NOW.
  • I DO NOT want sex. DH and I just had an argument about how he is sexually frustrated. I have heart burn and I'm tired after chasing after our toddler all day. Why does he ways want to do it at bed time when I look gross and feel tired. I offered to do it this morning and got shot down.
