Fundal Height 4 weeks ahead???

I am 30 weeks. When i went to the doctor 2 weeks ago, he said I was measuring perfectly. Today, I am measuring 34 centimeters. When I did some research, it said that it can be caused by multiple things, but my concern is measuring ahead and having a breech baby. Has anyone else measured this far ahead and not had any issues (normal sized babies, not breech, etc)???

You should honestly be talking about this with your doctor. I completely discourage online research during pregnancy as every woman and every pregnancy are different. Measuring ahead isn't reliable. Like I said, speaking to your doctor is your best option.

I agree that you should talk to your doctor.
However, I must say that I am very much for researching while pregnant. It allows you to get other points of view that you can bring to your doctor.
In fact, with all this information at our fingertips I would think it's silly to only rely on your one doctor for information.
As long as you aren't the type to believe everything you read, to ignore your gut feeling or signs of real danger, or to freak out and think everything is cancer, I think researching is very empowering. - Loading the player...

While it gives you different "points of view" that will just lead to you comparing yourself to all the other stories or symptoms you're reading. I would only rely on my doctor because (other than myself) he's the only one that knows my medical history and is examining my body through my pregnancy, not the world wide web. If your doctor was worried they would have done an ultrasound. Call and ask about it.
Fwiw, I suddenly measured 3.5 weeks ahead at 26 weeks and had an ultrasound. LO was breech and all balled up at the time. By my next appointment I measured on time again and at my next scan at 36 weeks she had flipped head down. Even if your baby is breech now there is plenty of time for it to flip. Most likely your doctor will monitor your measurements and if you're still way ahead in a few weeks they'll check everything out on an ultrasound. -

Measuring "off" at one appointment is no cause for concern. Your doctor would order an ultrasound if they thought it necessary. If you're worried about breech, ask them, but there are stretches and exercises you can do to help your baby turn at this point that a midwife was telling me about. There's really no cause to worry too much about it until you're closer to your due date because there's time for LO to turn, if they are breech.

I measured ahead until I was 36 weeks and yes my baby was breech up until that point. Now he has turned and I'm right on target measuring as I should. And the dr said he is in 27th percentile so not a big baby at all. It was just positioning that was causing the measurement to be off. I will admit I went to a chiropractor at 35 weeks because I was told it would help loosen ligaments so the baby could turn. Glad I went!
