Rh negative and doctor forgot

So I'm RH negative and 37 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. My doctor forgot all about it ...even though I brought it up months ago. I'm now freaking out! Now both my husband and I are being sent for blood tests. Him to check his blood type and me to check if I have antibodies. No one ever told me what my first child's blood type is either...sigh

    I am O neg and just went ahead and got the RH shot last week at 31 weeks. I had moved and jumped to multiple doctors which postponed everything but from my understanding the doctor said everything should be alright. Hopefully the same goes for you!

    Sometimes we have to take responsibility with our own medical care. If u know u need something, u need to talk to ur doctor about it.
