I'm a day late but reading VegetaEIPrincipe's post about the chiropractor reminded me of a twatwaffle from last Friday that I'm still annoyed at.
I was supposed to set up an appointment for early October for a check-up at my chiro and totally forgot about it. The usual secretary is not in the office, so this other guy (never heard of/met before) calls on Thursday to remind me. So I asked when they have appointments available for the next week and he spouts off the office hours. Okay great...I already know what times you are open...what times are not already booked? So I finally get 2 possible appointment times for the next day. I told him I would need to check if I can get a babysitter for DS, and I would call back if either of them worked for me. I thanked him and as I was hanging up, he said something along the lines of see you then. Okay...
Friday rolls around. I didn't have any luck finding a babysitter for that day, and was still looking into finding someone for this week, so I hadn't called the office back yet. However, as I'm picking my older kids up from school, I miss a call, and upon checking my voicemail, I hear "Hi, this is So-and-so from the chiro...you missed your appointment today..."
Excuse me!?!? I never actually made the appointment, so how on earth could I possibly have missed it!?!?
I'm late but my OBs office is also being a twatwaffle. Have you ladies ever heard of a Dr office that just doesn't answer their phone more often than not? I mean, no exaggeration its surprising if they do answer. I called my insurance to get information about my breast pump months ago. I have to go to a medical supply store for it. Of course insurance tells me different info than the supply store does. Finally get that straightened out and come to the conclusion that yes, I need my Dr to fax over a prescription (even tho that isnt what I was told in the first place). So I've been asking my Dr to do it for months now. I started asking when i was still being seen once a month. Now I'm once every 2 weeks and at my last appt she said i promise I'll do it right now... Yeah right. Lol so I've called every day since my last appt and have only spoken to a person the first time I called. Of course the lady that answered has no freakin idea what I'm talking about so she takes down the message for someone to call me back. No one did, no one has answered the phone the past 3 days that I've called over and over. I've left several messages on all their different press blank for so and so options. Nothing. Guess I know where I'll be as soon as they open in the am
I know I'm late but the mailman. They keep dropping the mail all the way thru the slot which requires me to bend down to pick it up. Which means I stand there for 5-10 seconds and debate the best way to get it.
Oh and I am too. For about a month now, I couldn't figure out why this app wasn't showing me how many unread posts there were and wasn't allowing me to "love" anything. Turns out I was signed out the whole time. Feel like an idiot...
Don't feel bad! This happened to me about a month ago. Only I didn't figure it out myself... I emailed the bump about it hahaha Talk about feeling stupid!!
I found out my manager is a secret TW! I was planning to ask for an extra 4 weeks off (personal leave of absence) after my 6 weeks STD is done... Well, someone at work told me she wouldn't do that for 3 other women we work with!!! I didn't think it would be an issue, but I guess it is! Now I don't feel bad about hoping my OB tells me to stop working and go on STD early. I won't scratch your back if you won't scratch mine /:)
@ammnam14 There is no such thing as a dumb question related to tricare and military hospitals. I think all AD installations have an immunization team for service members and they do flu shots at the unit or the weird travel shots for PCS and deployments but I am not sure if they all have one that takes other tricare beneficiaries. I'd guess most military hospitals probably do have an immunization clinic but many smaller installations just have clinics and they may not have that resource.
The people who are cutting down the beautiful trees outside my house because they're considered "dangerous" Are they hell, they're very strong they don't sway and they've been here longer than the houses! I'm late! But my doctor is a TW! I went into early labor 3 weeks ago on Saturday. I was put on bedrest for 2 weeks, well I'm back at work (as a cna) with no restrictions! I was hoping he would you know I've me a break and say I can't lift heavy old men! But nope. Not so lucky
