My midwife suggested supplementing magnesium. I already take 200mg/day and she suggested upping it to 1-2g/day if I start having cramping. You can also absorb magnesium from epsom salt baths.
This is exactly what I'm dealing with now. I wake up around 5am with leg cramps. It's just getting worse. Thanks for some suggestions. I also read being dehydrated can cause them.
