heart beat sounds like a boy! closing in on a name

in 2nd Trimester
according to this gender prediction system you listen to the heart beat everyday (I'm using the Babyscope doppler app on my phone cause you can't use a doppler every day) and then if its contently under 140 its a boy. so I might be having a boy. Yay! so what do you think of the name Logan?

    The heartbeat predictor is one of dozens of old wives tales and has no real evidence to support whether your child will be a boy or girl. 
    The only thing you know for sure is you have a 50% chance of having a boy.

    As for the name, I like it.

    My baby's heart beat has been over 140 at every single appointment and we're definitely having a boy. I wouldn't get too excited excited just yet, wait until your anatomy scan and see what they say then

    As you can see, there's no correlation between heartbeat and the sex of your baby.

    LOLOL, ohhh lordy.
    if your LO's bpm is 140 or under, there is still a 50/50 chance you will have a girl. don't go picking names & buying boy clothes just yet! wait until your anatomy scan.
    my LO's bpm was at 165 at 12 weeks & has since dropped down to a steady 153. I'm having a boy (:

    When I read the title of your post I literally said "What the...?" out loud at my desk.  So thanks for the laugh!

    That being said, Logan is a great name for a boy or a girl!

    I had a stress test done yesterday and my little GIRLs heartbeat was under 140 the whole time. Please don't rely on OWTs.

    Wouldn't go on heartbeat at all. My LO is all girl and her heart beat has been up in the 150s and down in the 130s... no truth to that tale at all.

    According to this both of my girls should be boys... I do like the name Logan though

    Um, both of my sons routinely had heartbeats in the 145-160 range, so there goes your rationale. ::insert eye roll at entire OP::
