GTKY: Hoping for a date?

Is anyone out there hoping for specific dates near their due date?

Obviously we cannot pick the day it happens (usually) but sometimes its fun to wish and wonder!

On the flip side, are there any days near your due date you really hope it isn't? Why?

Im due June 7th - but measuring 3 days early.

I am secretly hoping for a May baby instead of June [but of course will be happy with any date!]

My brother in laws birthday is May 24th, so I hope its not then.

But a close person to me is on the 26th and id be happy for the baby to share their day, for some spiritual reasons.

I already find it very spiritually significant that this baby will likely fall into Gemini (as said person does.)

Other than that, im hoping i dont go as late as Fathers Day.

DD's birthday is 12/12, so I wouldn't hate it if my CS was scheduled for 6/6 (my due date is 6/10). My OB does cover the hospital on Mondays, so we will see!

EDD is 6/18, but I wouldn't mind my CS being scheduled for 6/10/16. Math makes me happy.

My due date is 6/12. My mom's birthday is 6/10 & DH's birthday is 6/19. So id love to be 2 days early or a week late

My due date is June 30th, I'm hoping it's a few days earlier as July 4th is my favorite holiday & I'd like to be home with baby by then!!

Due date is currently June 15. The inly June birthday in my family is not brother on the 25, and I would be surprised if I go that late. Ds was a week late, and dd was on her due date

I'm hoping my RCS will be scheduled for 6/6/16! It will be scheduled in January so I'm guessing I'll have a good chance!

Due June 2nd, and just hoping to not go too early. DH is a teacher so it would be nice if baby waits for Daddy to be on summer break!

EDD may 31, which dh conviently forgot to tell me is his father's bday (his family told me this when we told them about being ku). I feel like a little bit of a bad person for saying this, but I don't want a due date baby bc fil isn't my favorite person

I am the opposite, I am due June 5th but really so not want a May baby and I have no significant reason as to why lol. However, the hospital I habe chosen does not to VBAC so I am almost forced for another c section unless I want to drive an hour away to a hospital that I gave birth at for my first ad hated. I do not want to pick my child's birthday, I was really hoping for a surprise, kind of like they pick their own day. Now I am just hoping my doctor let's me wait for June. :-)

My EDD is June 6, and I'm just hoping the baby isn't born late. My brother is getting married in our hometown (12 hr drive away from where I live) on June 18, and I'm not sure I would be up for that trip if I was less than a couple weeks post-partum...

My EDD is June 27th but I'm not too picky about a date. DH's birthday is July 4th so he is hoping for a birthday twin or sometime around then since he gets a couple extra days off work and more time with baby

I'm just happy to have a June due date. My family likes to have babies in clusters and June is one of the few months we have no birthdays.

My EDD is 6.22 and I would be happy with that because my H won't get too much time off work and at least giving birth on a Wednesday would be great for that purpose. ( So trivial!) I gave birth 2 days early last time so am not prepared for if he or she comes late. But as long as I get my healthy little bundle of squish I don't mind when they decide to make their appearance.

My dr said my c section will be scheduled exactly 7 days before my due date which lands on a Friday. Really hoping raspberry doesnt come sooner than that because DH only gets a couple of days of leave and I figured it would feel like a longer amount of time with the two extra weekend days

Due date is the 21st I think,lol.

This is the first pregnancy I have no desired date, lol. I would prefer a few days early vs being late though.

With DD we really wanted her bday to be 9/2 (9.02.10), due date was 9/4, she missed it by a day

With DS we thought it would be cool if he came while my bro was in town or on dh's bday, but he came a few days later of both events.

With our second DS DH really, really wanted him to be born on May 4th (star wars day), but he arrived on cinco de mayo!

So yes, i'm enjoying the non stress of June

We are going on a staycation with dh's family for July 4th, but my doc won't let me go that late.

) June 20 and my EDD is June 28. I would kinda like to have baby be born on June 20 because I think that would just be really sweet.

However, I'm happy with whenever as long as baby is healthy.

My edd is June 6, and I would love to have a late May baby! So many June birthdays in our family... Mine is 8, DH is 18, brother is 1, nephew is 17, FIL is 27. And of course Father's Day.
Also, my parents will be in the states (they live in South Africa) for the month of May and will be extending their trip into June to meet this grandbaby. I'd hate for LO to be born a week after the due date, the day before they fly back. I'd hate to have all that pressure on me... Everyone just waiting for me to go into labor. Ha! But maybe they can adjust their trip... We'll see when the time gets closer.

My due date is June 19th, and since I've had 2 c-sections already, I doubt a VBA2C is in my future. I think 6.16.16 would be a cool date. My husband's birthday is 6.6.78-too soon for a RSC.

Baby is due (June 5th) on our 12th anniversary, so that would be neat. But I'm also hoping for a June 1st baby to compliment my April 1st and September 1st babies.

I'm due the third. Our family photographer splits her time between New Jersey and Virginia beach. She will be in NJ the week prior and the week after. I REALLY want her to photograph the birth. So a week early or a week late is fine! But he/she comes when she comes!!!!

EDD is 6/3. I will have a RCS, and I am not sure how flexible they are with scheduling, or at what point they want you to go in. May is a miserable month in my family. Nothing good comes from May. So, fingers crossed we can schedule the CS for 6/1.

And, as a math person, I wouldn't mind 6/1/16.

My due date is Tuesday 6/7 and I'll be having an RCS. I'm hoping to get to do it Friday so DH doesn't have to take as many days off work while we are at the hospital!

EDD is 6/6. I went two weeks early with my first so I'm sort of hoping it happens the same with this one. I am a teacher and will have almost no maternity leave since we get 12 calendar weeks whether we are in school or not.

Same here! DD was born on 3/13/13 so 6/6/16 or 6/16/16 would be cool. Right now EDD based off LMP is 6/7. I'd also be okay with 6/11 or 6/15 because my Bday is the 12th DD is 13th DH is 14th. All different months but still pretty cool.

My unofficial due date is currently 6/21. My birthday is 6/7, and I can't decide yet wether it would be more fun to share my birthday or terrible to be in labor that day. Most likely, being a FTM I'll at least be later than the 7th. We'll see!!

Due date is 6/29 and our anniversary is 6/26. He's been overseas since a week before our second one, and this year will be our 6th, so I would be really happy if the baby either came early so we're home by the 26th, or came anytime after that. I just don't want to labor/deliver on the 26th

I'm due 6/6. My daughter's dance recital is on 6/5 so I'd either like at least a week before my due date or on my due date. I'm probably going to have an RCS and I not sure how early they will schedule one, but I do think they will let me go until my due date. We shall see.

LOL Same. I know way too many! They all totally have that 'twin' personality type. But i think its hilarious that i am likely going to end up with one. A gemini changed my life, and showed me the biggest challenges ive ever had to go through. So i think its oddly poetic in its own way that im going to probably have one.

I really hope my baby comes late! I'm due June 24th and my in-laws are scheduled for an Alaska cruise from June 19th-June 26th. I know my MIL will want to be there as soon as we allow people into the room after delivery and she's been considering cancelling her trip all together. Personally, a 2 or 3 day old baby is no different than a "just squeezed out of mom" baby but I doubt that will make much of an argument to a first time grandma. As of now, we've told her I'm due Late June/Early July in hopes the baby will come a few days late and they'll keep their trip but we'll see...Final payment isn't due for months so they've got time to decide, it's just frustrating with the bad timing.

my DD is June 27
June 21st was my sweet Memaws bday, who I was very very close to. She passed March 21, 2011. I really want to have this LO on that day, will make me feel close to her, and that this baby is a part of her!!!!!

EDD June 18th... I have two very close friends with 6/16 and 6/19 birthdays so that would be fun!

Aside from the fact that I don't want my baby to be early, I would love to have them before May 31st (my bday) so I would have my first baby at 27- the same age my mom was with her first.

Also, I'm aware that I'm BSC!
