Doctor checked my HCG levels but didn't tell me what they mean. Can anyone help me decipher?

Hey Ladies,
I don't know much about HCG levels. Can anyone help me out. My doctor had me get my levels checked Friday and Monday due to my last 2 pregnancies resulting in loss.  On Friday my levels where 3,215 and Monday they where 12,713. I expected my doctor to explain the numbers but she just had a nurse in the office call and tell me to keep my 9 weeks appointment on November 12. Anyone know how the HCG levels work and if mine are average?  Normal? Thanks in advance! 
I have long cycles so Im anywhere from early 6 weeks to 7 weeks pregnant.

    Here's normal ranges: 
    3 weeks LMP: 5 – 50 mIU/ml
    4 weeks LMP: 5 – 426 mIU/ml
    5 weeks LMP: 18 – 7,340 mIU/ml
    6 weeks LMP: 1,080 – 56,500 mIU/ml
    7 – 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 – 229,000 mIU/ml
    9 – 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 – 288,000 mIU/ml

    hCG is supposed to at least double every 48-72 hours during early pregnancy.  Around 9 or so weeks, it begins to increase at a slower rate.

    Thank you! Looks like Im within normal ranges for 6 weeks pregnant and my numbers did double. I wish the nurse could have just explained that.
