Not feeling full

Is it normal for breasts to not feel full? When my milk first came in up until the other day I've felt like I could burst. We have established a fairly regular 2-3 hour feeding schedule which I know helps, but it hardly feels like I'm producing especially on my left side. I figured I'd constantly feel more soreness and full. I'm just worried my supply is diminishing.

    Do you feel different before and after baby eats? Any indication baby isn't getting enough?

    From my experience, it is normal as your body regulates production to baby's needs/demands. Will be interesting to see what others say.

    If your still changing diapers...I believe 6-10 a day your fine. If not, Id ask a doc!

    I felt like a porn star when my milk came in with my first. Once it regulated I didn't feel as full unless she went more than 4+ hours without nursing. With babies 2-4 I haven't felt that same hugeness that I did with my first but have had no problems producing milk.

    I agree with PP - if you're changing the right number of wet and poopy diapers yore probably producing enough.

    He has a fair amount of wets and several "sharts" but hasn't had a full poop since yesterday morning. He's pretty gassy so I don't worry he's having tummy problems. He has another bili check today so I will ask.

    LO went a full 24 hours without pooping at all once. I called the pediatrician and they said not to really worry until it had been like 3 days.

    This exactly! When I was engorged, I thought to myself, "so this is what a boob job would look like."
