Has anyone experienced spotting after exercise? I've been doing a lighter version of HIIT since my bfp. One day last week and then again tonight, after my workout I notice a bit of dark brown discharge. No cramps, and I only see it immediately after the workout... I'm calling the doctor tomorrow, but wasn't sure if others experienced this as well.

I was just curious if you called your doctor. I have noticed the same thing. But I feel like I call my doctor everyday. I think I remember this with my first but still troublesome. So I didnt know if you got any encouraging news. Thanks!

I did...she simply told me to lay off exercise/sex/anything that will irritate the cervix until my US in two weeks. Wish there'd have been more news/more encouraging news.
Not really. She did say that everything is soft of sensitive right now and that those activities can irritate the cervix. I don't understand how irritation today can release old blood, but if it's what she recommended and I'd like to keep this baby, I'll do it.
I am lifting 6x a week still and doing cardio 2-3x, I am a little bloated so that's been tough but I think I a, a little harder on myself since I work in the fitness industry.
@Lyzza350 and @marriedtoadutchman Reason 1: It has never been tested among pregnant women. Reason 2: She looked at the ingredients list (which is long) and stated that 90% of this stuff has never been individually tested for pregnant women. She specifically called out 2 of the ingredients (can't remember which two) and said those two alone would make her advise me to stop. I do know that I have had friends have the stuff OKed by their own doctors, but I still wanted to hear it for myself, and I didn't.
So, better be safe than sorry. It is hard to put everything good into your body all the time, so I suppose I will control what I can. Not drinking it is one I can control.
I'm a physiotherapist and I totally feel the harder on yourself thing. Teaching postnatal Pilates classes and my core is super weak and tummy sore and bloats - can't demonstrate the harder exercises! I've been walking, swimming, jogging, doing yoga and Pilates about 5/7 days. Keep falling asleep on the couch and vigorous exercise/getting up in mornings is tough thanks to very low blood pressure. Hope this passes, I don't feel myself without proper exercise!
