We are currently grieving our 40 week old still born daughter (cord accident). Approx. 2 years ago, we also had a 12 wk m/c. I am very worried to get preg. again even though recent preg. was normal/healthy. I am scared for obv. reasons. I am seriously considering surrogacy. When did you decide to have another? What kind of couselling/testing did you do before?
I'm so sorry for what you've been through. I've had lots of early losses, but the pain of losing a baby at term is incomprehensible. Remember that you can still have the same problems with surrogacy, so I don't know if it will help alleviate your worries. All I can say is that with our third loss, our mindset sort of flipped into treating pregnancy as a sort of experiment that was likely to work at some point. That helped a bit, but the worry never ended until we held him - and then a different sort of worry started. It's all a leap of faith. If you and your husband love each other, you'll make it through somehow.
