Headaches every day

Anyone else having daily headaches? I'm 17 weeks along and have been having them for a couple weeks now. My doctor tells me to take Tylenol but it doesn't really work. Just wondering if anyone else has headaches and how do you treat them?

Re: Headaches every day

  • There are some great threads about this as well as a symptoms thread at the top of the page. Dark, quiet rooms and cold compresses over the eyes work for many mamas; I drink 1 cup of 1/2 caf coffee each day to fight off chronic migraines.

  • Thank you. I'll try doing that.
  • I have been having the same thing!!! 17 weeks and for the last ENTIRE week, headache all day! Even waking up with them now. Tylenol does practically nothing! I feel guilty taking it so often. I tried some caffeine and it helps a little but not enough.... Very frustrating.

  • I wake up with them every morning- I think it's because I'm not sleeping well at night and clenching my jaw (as the pain radiates from my neck unlike my usual migraines which start above by right eye).  Luckily for me, I'm so used to migraines that the headaches are more of an annoyance then anything.  Occasionally I'll take a Tylenol which helps, my morning cup of joe also seems to help...  best of luck!  Drink lots and lots of water!
  • Jkffx7, I hope you feel better soon! Thank you for the advice, I tried drinking coffee and it seems to help :)
