  • I hate Mondays. Somehow the house always gets trashed over the weekend and I get stuck with all the work on Monday. My parents are coming to town Thursday (yay!!!) so I have to get the guest room ready, too.

Andplusalso, I decided it would be fun to make two costumes for DD this year. Neither of which has been started. Pout.

  • I have NO control over my hormones right now. I can go from content to raging angry in about 2 minutes. It sucks. I hope, for the sake of my marriage that this ends soon! :)
  • My house is a disaster. We are remodeling our dinning room so that room is empty minus building stuff so everything from our dinning room is through out the rest of the house. In top of that clutter ive felt like crap so nothings gotten done all last week. Today i must make my house less gross! But i am tired and my sweet 4 year will most likely mess it all up again. Vent over

  • I have my first MD appointment today!! Seriously hoping we get to see the heartbeat and everything looks good.

My PPBF- my principal is mad that I made the appointment on a Monday meeting day. I TOTALLY spaced on the fact that we have a staff meeting... I was just so excited! Also- isn't it better that I didn't take off work??

  • wtf work. Why does your busy season needs to be during my first trimester. Rude.

And salespeople...get out of my office.
I can't finish your stuff if you keeping changing everything and interrupting me.

And appetite, could you tolerate something more than carbs? K thanks.
  • There's ONE GUY in the office that has the key to the thermostat... When it's cold in the morning he turns on the heat then he leaves. When it warms up to 75 outside none of us can get to the thermostat to turn the air back on. I swear he is TORTURING US ON PURPOSE!
  • I am so nauseous and tired today and I am home with my sick and puking DS. :((

  • Dizziness - Please go away.  I don't want to fly internationally in two weeks feeling like I'm going to fall over.

Lunch - Please get here sooner...I'm already hungry even though I just ate.  And I'm nauseaus too but that doesn't seem to stop the hunger.
  • I totally wrote that an hour ago and never hit post.

  • I slept for a solid 12 hours Saturday night, and then another 11 hours last night and I'm still falling asleep right now. How can something that is seriously the size of an apple seed cause such exhaustion?
  • Not feeling well and feeling a bit depressed and worn thin. DD is having scream fests for hours on end including yesterday, her birthday when she screamed from 3am-10am when not she passed out and resumed the screaming when she woke up at noon. They asked us at church to work in the nursery... Yeah, ask ppl with a toddler to watch 9 more. They asked anothe couple to help but they don't help. I work with at risk youth at work and I'm about to lose my mind but I can't quit yet. I got pregnant because I want two kids after the one we have but I don't want to have kids super far into my 30s because my last pregnancy was hard at 27. We told my parents the news yesterday and they were underwhelmed. I found out a girl I don't even really know has been telling people I'm KU and I'm even sure how she'd know. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! *insert the crying and angry emojis* I hate TB emojis.

  • It's time to re-sign up for health care at work.  If I have to predict the next year's worth of medical expenses, shouldn't they make it easier to understand?!  Also, our office has got to be like 50 degrees right now.  I have been shivering all morning and I'm wearing 4 layers!

DH is incapable of looking for things on his own. I swear every day he asks me where something is, that I haven't seen or touched. He then spends like 10 minutes looking for it before huffing around grumpy. So then I'll look for it and it takes about 5 seconds to find whatever he was looking for. image
OMG SERIOUSLY. If it not directly in front of DH's face, it doesn't exist. He doesn't understand that looking for something may entail using your hands to move things around to look behind or in other things. This weekend he was being sassy because there were no Tostitos even when I said there definitely were. I went down to the shelf TO THE EXACT SAME SPOT THEY HAVE BEEN IN FOR MONTHS and BAM!  There they were. But apparently I tried to trick him because I "hid" them in the grocery bag. I was all:

  • I feel like total crap today after a really busy weekend and not sleeping well last night. I always grocery shop on Mondays but I am really dreading it. If we didn't eat out all weekend, I would just stay home and order take out for dinner, but we really need to eat healthier food tonight. Don't make me go!

  • My DS has inherited his inability to find things that are right in front of him from his father. On a daily basis now he asks me where a particular toy or water cup is when it's within three feet of him. He doesn't even try to look before he tells me he can't find it.
  • I'm annoyed with the babysitter who is demanding more than we want to pay her, but I have no choice. All the other babysitters are okay with what we offer and they are way better, but because we are desperate for a few weeks, we need to suck it up.

And my DS woke up too early from his nap and is walking around the crib. WTF.

  • Veteran mom's on this bm board making FTMs feel like idiots for having symptom questions. Sorry everything in this pregnancy isn't going swimmingly. Maybe I'd like to hear from others who are actively pregnant right now on whether they're also actively experiencing something. Couldn't it be argued that EVERY question on this board could be answered by Google? Why bother having the board if everything people post is going to come under fire?

And yes, I have a symptom question that I posted where I thought people would want me to and it went unanswered. Google is much less comforting than the people on this board, but don't worry, I won't ask it again so I don't "ruin" the board for others.
  • DD1&2 have turned into hellions. Screamed, cried, ran away in restaurant yesterday. Zero nerves left!!!!! And although I do understand that they are only 2 & 3, DH seems to think it would be easiest to take EVERYTHING away from them as punishment. Uh, then they will never leave me alone. Ugh. I need a vacation!
  • 1. To the guy at work who practically does laps around the office - where are you always walking to? Do you ever do any actual work? Why do you always have to sigh loudly as you walk by like your job is so hard? You're literally never even at your desk.

    2. Office thermostat - pick a temperature. Please don't fluctuate between hotter-than-fucking-balls and so-cold-my-nipples-could-cut-glass on a daily basis. Pick something. A happy medium preferably.

I totally relate to #2. My office is the same exact way. For this reason, I have a personal fan on my desk and a personal space heater under my desk. Today, it's cold enough to hang meat in here. I might just start a fire in my trash can.

This is supposed to be an easy work week because the manufacturing shop I support is on layoff this week. But I'm actually super swamped. It's not fair.

First time mom here - no veteran by any means. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming you're referring to some of the complaints recently about the sheer amount of symptoms threads being posted? I don't think anyone here has a problem with others asking questions, wondering about symptoms, etc. But when multiple threads are posted every single day (some of them asking about the same symptoms, if they have a bump yet, if cramps are normal, etc) it starts to clog up the board. Not to mention it gets a tad annoying when the could scroll down a few inches and see what has already been posted.

To remedy that, we've created a daily symptoms thread where you're more than welcome to ask questions and share what symptoms you're experiencing, that others are more than likely experiencing as well.

Yes, but have you ever seen questions actually get answered on there? I just see a bunch of personal monologues with a few unanswered questions. Those threads encourage people to say they're bloated, but don't encourage discussion about odd issues.
  • House is a wreck, DH and 14 yr old DS never ever pick up after themselves and then I'm the bad guy when I finally fly off the handle and tell them I'm not the maid!!!! So tired of doing everything! I do all the housework, laundry, cook all the meals, run all the errands, AND work full time! And most of the time I'm so tired I can't even hold my eyes open!!!!!! Geeez!!!!! A little help, PLEASE?!?!?
And THEN I get accused of using my pregnancy as an "excuse" because I'm tired, don't feel good, etc etc. :((

QBF Maybe we need to make it like the TTPG board where if you have a question and aren't just ranting about symptoms you put ***question*** so it grabs people's attention. Otherwise, when there are multiple pages of posts it's easy to scroll through and look for the people who need an answer.

    I agree with @meggyme
@Patience7150 if you have an actual question vs just sharing what you're experiencing, preface your comment in the thread with ***QUESTION PLEASE*** or something along those lines. That way those of us scrolling through can easily pick out the questions and help get them answered. This worked very well on the TTGP board in the daily TWW and WTO threads.

I don't think anyone is trying to be rude. We're just trying to find a happy medium to make the board flow a bit more smoothly, since we'll all be here for quite a while ;)

  • I sit here trying to eat healthy and snack healthy, but my mind just wanders off to milkshakes and fries and that's really all I fucking want all day every day for the rest of this 9 months!
  • WELL!
I texted my MIL to make sure it's ok she keeps DS a little longer today Bc I have to go to the dr about the bleeding and cramping Im having. Her response?
I'm scared you're making DH (don't wanna put his name here), too stressed out. With having to study for the CPA and now this, I'm not sure how he's going to handle it. You need to keep DH out of it because Im scared of how stressed he's getting. He doesn't need to worry about this right now.

    ^Great idea.

my PPBF: I got a cold and that combined with my exhaustion and nausea and everything else related to my pregnancy is just making me miserable. I'm at work right now and I seriously want to cry because I can't just curl up in my bed and disappear from the world for the day. My job takes a lot of emotional energy and I just have so little of it to give right now. And I can't take a sick day because I'm trying to save up as much PTO time as possible so I can extend my maternity leave for as long as possible while getting paid my full salary.

    To your MIL:

I seriously don't even know how I would respond to that, other than giving her the silent treatment.

  • I was craving brownies yesterday. DH somehow read my mind and baked brownies without me asking. They were delicious. I ate one today with lunch and now feel sick and brownies sound so gross. WTF body? Make up your mind.
