  • Her water broke at like 7am and she was fully dilated at like 1pm. I think she said she had a minor tear but that was it.

  • I dont think MOD has posted a birth story but she did not want to be induced unless medically necessary. She waited it out and went in to labor naturally and delivered a healthy baby boy I believe at 40 1/2 weeks or so.
  • I think the worst of it was a small tear and some vomitting.  Other than that, mod had it good.

I stand corrected. lol Now I remember it. Pregnancy Stupids kicking in.

  • I want to go late - mainly because I don't want my MIL to be here when I'm in labor or when I come home from the hospital.  My DD is 1/27, her flight home is booked for 1/29.  Stay baby, stay!!!
  • I was pregnant until 41 weeks and 3 days and my story was exactly the same! water broke at 6:30 and was holding my baby at 1:03! Let those babies cook and hopefully they will come out nice and easy...haha Stick out tongue

    ROTFL Thats horrible!!

  • since the average first pregnancy lasts at least 40-42 weeks, I don't know why people jump all over induction ( unless there are complications) as soon as their due date comes...it isn't fun to be 9 months pregnant, but you're better off overall waiting until the baby is ready..I was induced at almost 42 weeks last time, and it STILL took 3 days and was a total nightmare. They were probably just off on my dates, and if I had stuck to my guns, I would have had the birth I wanted. (maybe.) Some people might gestate longer- or shorter- 40 weeks is just an average.
  • I also delived at almost 42 weeks and had a smooth, fast delivery. I went into L&D at 8am and was holding my DD by 3pm.
