  • Month/Cycle:4/4

    CD/DPO: 24/10

    Timing: -2,0

Testing Plans: after the BFN yesterday I'm trying to just wait to AF

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: ready to start over next cycle

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? I once made a pretty awesome link costume from Zelda.

  • Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD/DPO: 26/9

Testing Plans: I am going to try and hold off until Tuesday. AF should arrive then, if she doesn't I will test. :) Hopefully I have enough will power.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I have had strange little stabs of pain in my pelvic area this time around, doesn't feel like period cramps, but I am trying not to over think anything. I am feeling hopeful this cycle, I don't think I have prayed so much in one month in a long time. Impatiently waiting for Tuesday.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? I was a purple people eater!! "It was a one eyed, one horned, flying, purple people eater." That was the most creative I've come up with.  lol. Say a little prayer for everyone today!!

    CD/DPO: 23/5??

Timing: DH didn't want to try this cycle, but since this was my first month temping, I'm still tracking everything.

    Testing Plans: N/A

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: ***CS please*** Welp, FF moved O to CD18 from CD16. I'm not sure I agree based on CM and serious ovulation pain I was having the night of CD16. This cycle has been so weird.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? About 10 years ago, DH and I did a Jack and Meg White couples costume that was pretty spot on.

    Month/Cycle: 4

    CD/DPO: 31/10

    Timing: -1, +1

Testing Plans: Tues at 13 dpo if AF holds out that long.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: So I was fully expecting to wake up and have my temp take a huge nose dive since I was so crampy yesterday. To my surprise my temp did the exact opposite. Trying not to read too much into it as I'm still thinking AF will be here sometime Tom. Feel free to stalk..

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? This year I'm a deer, and I'm pretty much in love with the costume. It's super cute, if I do say so myself!

    Edit: messed up my CD

  • @chrlyr  It looks like CD 18 is correct since that is when you got a clear temp shift.

@lunanova9  Your chart looks good! Don't give up hope yet!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 20/6

    Timing: -4, -1, +1

    Testing Plans: 16dpo

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Just got paid yesterday. I teach college and one of the schools I teach at only pays twice a semester, so it was a nice big paycheck :). Going shopping today!

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)?
I haven't dressed up for Halloween since freshman year of college. Once in middle school I wore an orange sweatshirt and taped eyes and a mouth on it and told people I was a jack-o-lantern. At one house they refused to give me candy since I wasn't "really" dressed up.
  • @misskay913 .... How exciting! Keep us updated! My temps have started doing that same as yours. Practically the same each day for three days.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 24/10

    Timing: -3 -2 0 +1

Testing Plans: I got a BFN yesterday so am thinking I'm out this month. Not testing until next Thursday if temps are still up.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: feeling over this month all ready. I really thought it was going to be my month :(

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? My day of the dead costume.

    Month/Cycle: 5

    CD/DPO: 22/10

    Timing: -4, -2, -1, +1

Testing Plans: November 1 if AF doesn't show by then.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I forgot to pack my thermometer so I had to buy a new one, which I like better and think is more accurate but today's temp was important and now my chart might be even more inaccurate than before. AND it doesn't look good so...hopes are dashed. And now I wait.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? I was a teenage mutant ninja turtle once...when I was like 3.

ETA: changed testing plans from none to November 1

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: The upside to BFN is I'll be drinking tonight.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Temps keep going up! Really trying not to SS or get my hopes up.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 24/12

    Timing: almost ED during FW

Testing Plans: BFN again this morning. Pretty sure I'm out this month.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: TMI - I had a small amount of light brown CM yesterday and then it disappeared. It's back this morning, so AF is coming early and it's not implantation like I was hoping. Very sad.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? No one favorite - but my mom sewed a lot of awesome costumes for us as kids. Trying to do the same for DD this year and I'm making her a peacock costume.
  • I'm so excited I finally ovulated! Last month I had a cycle that lasted just under 60 days and I haven't had a regular cycle in months, so I wasn't expecting to ovulate. I'm hoping this means my body is starting to figure things out again.

    Month/Cycle: 5/3

    CD/DPO: 26/3

    Timing: -3, -1

Testing Plans: This is my first month charting, so I'm not sure when AF will be due. Right now FF is predicting next Tuesday, but that would mean I only have a 6 day luteal phase, which would be bad. So my plans for testing are ??? But I don't want to see more BFNs and waste a ton of tests, so I'll see how everything goes.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Nothing really today. Attached my chart but as of right now I don't have any questions. Just excited to be here!

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? I'm generally working on Halloween, but one year it fell on my natural day off in the middle of the week, so I was able to celebrate. I live in a city where everyone dresses up and goes downtown to various bars. Usually there's a Halloween pub crawl or something going on. My city gets really into every holiday you can celebrate with booze. The costume I wore that year was my favorite. My husband and I dressed as bank robbers. We made little money bags and everything. We received a ton of compliments on the costumes that year.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Happy Football Saturday! Happy to be hanging with DH today...planning to watch the new Jurassic Park tonight and I can't wait!!

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? A bag of jelly beans. I was able to stay warm while trick or treating.

  • Congrats @noelietrex and @misskay913 !!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 27/4

Testing plans: still convinced I will make it to Halloween, but I'm pretty sure I'm only holding strong because I know right now it is way to early for anything.

R/R/CS: My face is breaking out and I can't stop touching it. Ugh. No questions on the chart yet but I've attached it.

GTKY: From ages 3-6 I couldn't decide if I wanted to be a witch or a clown. My mom cut a clown costume and witch costume in half and sewed them together. She then painted half my face like a clown and half like a witch. So "clown witch" would probably be my favorite thing I've ever been cause it's incredibly strange and I loved it!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 21/7

    Timing: -2, 0

    Testing Plans: 14 DPO

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I was expecting my temps to start a slow decline today but they're still up. Last night I had a really sharp pain in my lower abdomen and this morning I woke up with cramps. If anyone needs me, I'll be over here pretending I'm not symptom spotting. I'M PLAYING IT COOL, YOU GUYS. In a huge NBR rave, I've been looking for low-heeled, matte, black ankle booties for less than $40 for over a month now and finally snagged some at Marshall's this morning. Feeling pretty damn awesome about that life development.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? In college I made myself a Doodle Bear costume. I went to a couple parties that night with a little purse of markers and let people write messages on me. It was the only time I've ever had a creative Halloween idea and I looked super adorable.

  • @hrobinson7289 I'm with you on the breakout struggle. My chest is breaking out. I may or may not have popped a zit in a Marshall's dressing room this morning. I'm not proud.

It looks like quite a few ladies are going to be testing in the next couple days. FX for all of you lovelies!!!

  • Wow, congrats to all the BFPs this morning!  H&H 9 months to you all!

    Month/Cycle:  2/2

    CD/DPO:  23/4

Timing:  ED FW, EOD before that since AF left

Testing Plans:  Probably start next Tuesday or Wednesday at 7 or 8 DPO just for funsies

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:  I've kind of... lost my opinion on whether I care if I get KU this month or not in light of my lay-off happening in January. I mean, we seriously did our best with the timing before O (which happened before they announced my company is closing), and what's done is done at this point, and I can no longer control the outcome. If I'm pregnant, we'll figure it out with the finances and insurance and hopefully getting a new job asap, and if I'm not, we have to take a break... It is what it is...  Also, HOLY BREAKOUT, Batman! My face is like... erupting. I don't remember it being quite this bad last month. All the stress from this past week is probably not doing me any favors, either.  :(

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)?  Oh I've had so many fun costumes. I love Halloween! I did a fun non-slutty one two years ago that was "Little Red Riding Hood, Wolf Huntress". I wore black skinny jeans, black leather boots, a white tank top, and the red cape w/hood. I created large "wolf scratches" on my arms using markers (they looked super dimensional!), and I carried around a fake rifle. DH is not into halloween, but he did wear a wolf mask lol. People didn't really get the costume without the wolf piece, but I loved it for being unique. I may reuse it someday since it's so easy to throw together.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: just waiting for AF to show her ugly face so she can come and be gone. Today is day 6 after stopping my provera and I have had very, very light spotting here and there, but no true AF and i just want her to hurry up and come already!!

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? not sure. I only really dressed up when I was super little and I don't really remember that

  • Congrats @noelietrex and @misskay913 !   It's been a great week of BFP's!

    Month/Cycle: 12/10

    CD/DPO: 37/ ?

Timing: We had EOD timing if I ovulated between day 20-25. Unsure though, may not have ovulated this month or my CM may have been off and I just ovulated super late.

Testing Plans:  2 BFN yesterday and two days before that. I will test again Monday if no AF.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: This is the longest cycle since April. I have had no PMS symptoms at all which is so strange. I had strange nausea this morning that I thought would lead to cramps but never did. I am breaking out a ton though so not sure what that is, could just be the dry weather. I also have had a ton of CM the last few days, it's pretty runny too which is strange. I am pretty sure I am out this cycle and I am regretting taking a break from temping. I just want to be able to start temping again so hope this cycle sorts itself out. Very glad I get to be referred to a specialist soon... just waiting for DH SA results this week.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? I am not a huge halloween or costume fan but when I was 20 I was Medusa and it was really fun, I put a bunch of snakes in my hair and wore a long black sexy dress.

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 24/11

    Timing: -1

Testing Plans: BFN this morning and feeling crampy, so I'm thinking AF is on her way

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I never got solid CH this month, only dotted. I think I may have ovulated a day later than FF shows, so I guess I will find out for sure in a day or 2.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? Probably when DH and I dressed up as the coneheads a few years ago.

    Congrats to all the BFP!!!
  • @sillysarahsoda   If your CM is really runny, then maybe it is watery CM? I looked at your chart, but it is hard to tell if you ovulated since you have so many missing temps. It's possible you ovulated late or just haven't ovulated at all yet.
  • @bcooke314   Yeah I took a break from temping the last few months because I was getting really depressed and stressed over every temp so DH and I decided just to track CM and my cycles and start temping again in November after he gets his SA results and I get a referral to see a specialist (it's been a year of TTC now).

My previous charts I usually O around day 20/21 but not this month obviously. I would consider it watery CM as well but I already had watery and EW type CM this month... but I guess I am getting it again. It is just strange for me to get watery CM this late. I am pretty sure I just ovulated really late this cycle.

I thought my cycles were finally becoming more regular (31-34 days) but I guess I was wrong, it's frustrating, BC messed me up so bad and I have been off it a year and a half already.

  • Comgrats to all the BFPs today!

    Month/Cycle: 9

    CD/DPO: 23/5

    Timing: -1, 0, 1

Testing Plans: Next Friday - I can't wish the time away fast enough!

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Nothing really! Feeling super lazy in the gloomy Fall day.

GTKY: What is your favorite Halloween costume (that you've actually worn)? I'm not creative at all when it comes to that kind of stuff. My go-to is usually a skier, so I can stay warm all night!
  • Congratulations and a h&h @noelietrex and @misskay913
  • H&H nine months @noelitrex and @misskay913 !!!

    Me: 30 | DH: 34 | DSS: 14 | DS: 4
    PG #2, EDD 10/12/2023

  • Congratulations @noelietrex and @misskay913!!
  • @sillysarahsoda  It's possible that you didn't actually ovulate when you had the watery and EWCM earlier because your body was gearing up to and then something stressful happened.  So now later in your cycle, your body may be gearing up again to ovulate. But it's hard to tell without the temps. I'd HIO just in case :)
  • *****Question******

I already posted my update for today, but I thought I would put this as a question separately. I know it can take up to a year for a healthy couple to get pregnant, but I was reading TCOYF today and it said that a year is standard for couples who are not charting and for a couple who is charting a specialist should be seen after 4-6 months of good timing but no pregnancy. But from this community I have been hearing people saying it can take up to a year even with perfect timing. I'm only at month 2, so I'm not considering seeing a specialist yet, but when do you all think is the right time to?
  • @bcook314  - My gyno told me 6 months of trying (whether charting or not)... but I live in Canada so we don't have any extra costs to consider when seeing a doctor or specialist. Plus if you are charting and noticing something is off right away I don't think you necessarily have to wait at all. But I would say it's individual preference and cost etc.

I waited a year and regret it, because now I am just starting to get the ball rolling on getting tests done and seeing a specialist.

I agree with PP… If you're charting and you notice an immediate problem, what's the harm in consulting your OB early? Also, if you're 35 or older it's six months… But I'm sure that you know that from TCOYF.
