Team (pink/blue/surprise):We are having another boy! Just found out today!
What's new with baby?: He is about 11 oz and measuring right on track. I have an anterior placenta apparently, so that explains why it's been so difficult to feel him.
Appointments?: Today we had the ultrasound and the pre-natal appointment right after. Baby is looking excellent! Moving around in there. I guess I'm back to my baseline weight after losing 7 initially (though I'm always a couple pounds more on their scale). I'm trying to be excited about it, but worried to start gaining too fast. Pregnancy seriously messes with your brain.
Are you doing anything new to prepare for baby?: Now that we know it's another boy, we can start thinking about names and shopping for nursery stuff. And I can go through his brother's clothes to see what we will reuse.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Nothing much to complain about. Still dealing with acid reflux daily but that's normal for me. Other than that, feeling pretty great so far and hoping to keep exercising for a while still.
Questions?: If you have an anterior placenta with one, does that mean you have it with all? Just curious.
GTKY: What movie could you watch over and over without getting sick of it?
I love to re-watch show more than movies. So 90210, saved by the bell, Charmed, Ghost Whisperer. For movies, I like the "Frat Pack" movies or most of the ones they have been in. Anything with Hugh Grant. Some others are The Bodyguard, Sliver, Sliding Doors (my all time fav), some movies with Christian Slater. And just classics from childhood. I guess there are too many to name and many I forget.
Weeks/Size: 19 weeks/mango Team (pink/blue/surprise): maybe blue, waiting for anatomy scan a week from Monday to know for sure What's new with baby?: Moving around like crazy in there Appointments?: November 2nd is our anatomy scan Are you doing anything new to prepare for baby? Getting ready to go down to California for a family get together slash baby shower, other than that just waiting to find out what sex the baby is Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Other than being tired and feeling huge already, some mondo round ligament pains. I became victim to hormones yesterday when I started crying at work and couldn't stop. Oh joy. Questions?: Anyone else having RLP and mid-back pain from hell? GTKY: What movie could you watch over and over without getting sick of it? Honestly? Finding Nemo. I love that movie.
Team (pink/blue/surprise): As of yesterday's scan, we found out we are Team Blue! We were hoping a bit for pink, but the love and excitement about the baby haven't dimmed at all. We're so excited to one day meet our little guy.
What's new with baby?: We did his anatomy scan to check him out and he looked just perfect. He's SO much bigger and more developed than last time I can hardly believe it. And he's not even a pound yet!
Appointments?: We're done with appointments until November. Are you doing anything new to prepare for baby?: Well, we announced the sex and the name, so we're mostly focused on getting our families up to speed on what's going on right now.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: My breasts are still leaking every now and then, and ALL of their tissue is sore instead of just the nipples. Headaches continue and I'm always sleepy after meals... but aside from those things, I feel pretty good. I really am not getting many cravings. I was kind of looking forward to that, because eating a meal you're craving INTENSELY always feels so good.
GTKY: What movie could you watch over and over without getting sick of it? My first thought is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
