I've been having issues as well. Yesterday I could barely walk, and at night they burn!! I keep trying to tell myself a few more weeks!! I try to use a heating pad on my hips, it seems to be helping a bit! Or I'll take Epsom salt baths.
Do you sleep with a pillow between your legs so that your hips are even when you are lying on your side? I would also try a chiropractor, they are a god sent while pregnant!

Yes! When I sleep on one side I'll wake up with pain from my hips to my knees. I'll turn over - same thing happens I've tried the pillow thing, the pillow always ends up on the floor by the first potty break of the night.....
Agree with pp about support belt. Also try sleeping on a really soft mattress topper and a pillow between your knees. There have been tons of posts on this already. A simple search would have brought up the same responses.
Have you tried any prenatal yoga? That can sometimes help relieve my back pain (I don't have hip pain... yet.)
I want to try this, because I miss my hot moksha yoga, but I just feel like my belly is too big, or I'll fart in the middle of class. I have zero control over gas anymore
@SummerFall03 Ha! Well, if you're in a class full of preggos at least you may not be the only one with that problem, haha. I actually just bought a prenatal yoga video via Amazon prime, so I can start doing it at home, since the only class I can get to in person is really early on a Saturday. (No thank you!) Maybe see if there's any video you like online?
I feel you!!! I've come to the realization that its just one of those things, but I do run through all the potential "cures" every time it's bad. Prenatal yoga has helped me in general and also provided some stretches for me to do whenever my hips/back are aching. I would definitely suggest trying it at any size as the poses are adjusted for pregnancy (I'm a total amateur and have been loving it!)
Epsom salt baths and prenatal yoga have been my only relief and even then it's rarely gone long. Just learning to cope with it the best I can and find comfortable positions. There's a 30 min routine I do from YouTube that's "Prenatal Yoga Session" by Lara Dutta. I really enjoyed it and my hips felt amazing after.
Prenatal belly dance has helped me a lot. When my hips hurt I break into a few of the moves and it shakes out the stiffness & discomfort. Hip circles & such really help & really deep squats where you take your butt all the way to the floor.
I sleep with a pillow under my belly and memory foam pillow between my legs and also make sure that my hips are not totally stacked and that I'm at least laying more on my front or back to offset the pressure. It helped significantly
Mine only bother me (only my left side) if my hubby is sleeping with me. He's been on nights these last 2 months so I've gotten pretty good sleep. However in about a week he switches over to days, so I'll be back to my hip waking me up in the middle of the night for the next 2 months
That happen to me as well. Currently 28w and experiencing hip ache since yesterday... Lying down wont ease the pain and at last i ask my hubby to do some massage on it

Sitting on a fitness ball rather than a couch
Massages (proper therapeutic ones)
Heat packs.
