I know I mentioned a concern prior about Post O temps that haven't reached 98 which seems ok, but has anyone experienced flat temps like I am right now? This is day four of 97.9...just want to make sure it's nothing to be concerned about.

I haven't been temping long but haven't seen my temps repeat or anyone's chart like that in all my studying on ff or chart stalks here. Is it the same thermometer you've been using and how old it is? It looks like something may be wrong with your thermometer

@sarah0985 thanks for your response...thermometer is no more than 2 years old. I questioned it too at first because I thought my Pre-O temps were everywhere, but I bought a new one and they are reading the same!

Testing Plans: BFN today. Not surprised. I will test tomorrow -- again, only in case it's + so I can tell my mom in person. After tomorrow if BFN, not until AF is late.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: so, major drop today...below cover line. What???? That's not in any of my other charts...sigh. None of my charts look very similar

Chart Stalk: I've been through the gambit with thermometers. I know you shouldn't switch mid cycle, but my Target thermometer was A POS, so I got the regular Vicks one while waiting for my Mabis to come in. I stated using Mabis on cd25 abd it was pretty consistent with my other temps, so Thai made me happy. My question is about the slight dip in my temp yesterday, cd26. This is my first month temping, so I'm not sure what to look for in a possible implantation dip, or if I'm already out because my temp went down. Thoughts? Experience? TIA!

@mali0902 take a look at the chart gallery on FF, and see what the post-O temps are doing for people. Your temp is still above the CL, so the slight drop might mean nothing. Typically an ID goes down and then immediately back up - it doesn't seem likely that you are experiencing that, since your temp only went slightly up after the dip. But in general my advice would be to try not to read too much into your temps - there are charts that look promising that don't result in a BFP, and charts that look like AF is coming that do result in a BFP! Definitely spend some time on the FF chart gallery.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: today is my 4th day of high temps so I think I'm going to quit temping for the rest of the cycle. I tend to overanalyze every post-o temp and it makes the TWW even more terrible than usual. Here's to trying to stay sane!

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: ****TMI Rant***My husband works just as many hours as I do, on a set schedule, although it's more physically demanding labor job than mine. My schedule is always changing and I work more into the night hours than he does. When I get home (especially when I know we're in our fertile window) I'll want to have sex and he (being home for at least three hours already) says that he's too tired or when we go to bed and he's asleep in two minutes - I know its not a lack of attraction for me because he will always watch me undress to put on my pajamas. He's not old. He's turning 32 in December. I don't know what to do. He knows I'm upset about it because you can see it all over my face and yet there he is snoring away anyway. If this pattern continues we will never be pregnant. It's so disappointing!

GTKY: What is your fave vacation spot? I don't know. My family and I have been a lot of places and I really like Cyprus and Spain but hubby and I have never been anywhere by ourselves so I can't judge on that side of it.

Testing plans: BFN this am. I have a short cycle so will test daily until AF (expecting today or tomorrow but who knows)

R/R/CS: with the exception of mid cycle it's been a relatively symptom free cycle. I haven't even had much pms drama (which has been the usual for me since going off BC). Not assuming that makes this cycle "the one" just interesting. I have a feeling I ovulated later than my last three cycles. I know temping is the only way to know for sure but I am not temping for reasons that make sense to me

. I am feeling a little down about no BFP and likely impending AF but I am feeling much better and more calm about my BFNs than last cycle if that makes sense.

Favorite vacation spot:
We try not to repeat location often but if I had to go to one place again it would be Aruba. That was an amazing island. And it's my profile pic on here.

R/R/CS: this is my first month temping and I just got CH this morning. I'm really excited about charting my temps but a little nervous that they will dictate my mood for the day if it goes up or down.

*totally random thought that I will have to do Google research on- I wonder how old the statistic of having a 28 day cycle is. Most women I talk to have longer ones. Perhaps it is outdated?*

@smfeuro I can totally sympathize with your rant. I am on CD 13 and we have not had sex AT ALL this cycle. I planned to do ED from Wednesday-Sunday (expected O date) or at least EOD, but nothing. We are always tired during the week, and we have a 7yo at home so alone time doesn't happen until later in the evening, but of course I would suck it up. But sometimes I feel like I'm badgering H about it, he has a medical condition that causes him to have back pain and fatigue sometimes, so I haven't even brought it up this week so of course it hasn't happened. We talked about it last weekend though and I told him what needed to happen and what days, and he asked about my temp on Monday or Tuesday and I told him it was still low and I expected to O Saturday or Sunday, so again he knows what needs to happen. I agree it is very frustrating and disappointing, I feel like it will never happen at this rate.

But then if I can make it to 12, what's another two days? Plus Halloween is fun.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: This is my first official TWW with temping & actually TTC. My H & I have been together a long time and we've pretty much always been NTNP, so this is exciting. I was worried that FF wouldn't work out for me since I am a total mouth breather but I've gotten the hang of it now and it's not bad at all. Now for fun sex and de-stressing about O'ing.

We've been quite a few places but honestly, put me on a clean beach anywhere and I'm happy.

But I wasn't prepared for this to be such an emotional roller coaster. I'm in tears over this mornings BFN. Tonight we're having wine for dinner. And maybe some sushi.
