I have a disney confession too. Yesterday at around 3pm I booked a disney vacation, but swore up and down that I would not go crazy over planning things ...by 10 pm last night, I had an excel spreadsheet with a day by day breakdown of all my dining reservations/ daily park plans/ and provided DH with a detailed analysis of every single room in our hotel- just for the hell of it. I guess it could be worse though. I could have had a minute-by minute breakdown of the week.

Can we be friends? We FPP next Thursday, and my spreadsheet is intense..DH thinks I'm nuts.

If I could feed my neighbors yippy dogs to a mountain lion.. I would. They never shut up, and the neighbors let them piss and shit on the concrete slab under their patio all day.. Then just wash it off into the yard with a hose.. Gross.

"Darling, be a dear, haven't slept in a year, I need your help to make my neighbor's yappy dog disappearrrrrr!"

Hope you've seen RENT for that reference. ;)

  • @DougalMcG I LOVE spreadsheets!!

Another FFFC: one of the biggest perks of having cats and living in the south is that my parents will only visit a couple months out of the year due to the heat; with cats in the house, they won't stay in the house.
  • I also love spreadsheets. (Kind of a job requirement for an accountant.)

My favorite part of wedding planning was setting up our online RSVPs so they would automatically populate a google spreadsheet with all the RSVP info. It was GREAT.

  • I'm not a big drinker by any means but I've wanted a amaretto and pineapple so bad for 2 days I had to take all the bar supplies/booze we have out and put them away today in a cabinet so I don't keep looking at it.
I think I want it because I can't have it.
I love and miss wine as well. I know people think it's " ok " but it's not ok for me so my mascato will have to chill till April .
    * now I sound like a booze hound and I'm really not we just entertain a lot *

I'm with you! I miss my wine a lot. It's the hardest when we're with our families bc they're pretty big drinkers and it's tough to watch everyone enjoying their drinks and I can't even have one! I'm sure a drink here and there is probably fine but I know I'll feel guilty.

Also, my husband is an accountant and loves spreadsheets too! It was amazing for wedding planning and house-buying and I'm sure will be wonderful for baby gear research too! He also will make PowerPoint presentations of options for different things, ha! It's pretty great.

Yeah me too. I really don't like maternity pants/jeans at all. Want to stay in mine as absolutely long as possible.

I'm in LOVE with them . I'm sorry I waited so long !

  • I love Disney but hate how everything is online now! Everything's already booked up if you don't book the trip more than 6 months out. You can wait until the day of to make lunch or dinner reservations.
  • Yay Disney! In a little over a month we will be season pass holders at World! I am beyond excited! DD will be too, she loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins...DH is just along for the ride lol. A perk of living only 2 hours from Orlando!

Story of my life. I got such crap times for chef mickeys and be our guest. Who makes dining reservations three months in advance?!

Jealous! We're going for Christmas with the whole family.. Planned long before I got KU. Luckily lots of rides are pregnant woman friendly! And I can eat my way around the world ;)

Dude- get the side panel skinny jeans from Old Navy. They are basically normal jeans but with some stretch in the waist. I feel way too small for the full panel ones and the low panels seem frumpy. The side panels are the way to go!

I have a long torso... Most tops look like they are 3 inches too short on me so it's both a blessing and a curse.

I like how you think ....

Anyone have recommendations for comfy corduroy pants (skinny or straight) that would be comfortable in the 2nd trimester?

I got a black pair of corduroy pants from kohl's. They have a small maternity section but you could try looking there, they usually have some clearance maternity clothes and really good deals if your signed up to get their emails.
  • @NachosAndPeaches I know the feeling. My son has blue/grey around the outside and dark brown on the inside around the pupil...What do you even call that!?

Mine are green on the inside and brown on the outside. I go with brown since that's what you'd notice far away.

Ahem....I have one for a Disney trip we haven't even booked yet. Hotel, dining plans, menus, parks, shows etc. I haven't told H because he'll think I'm crazy. We want to go for DS 5th birthday in 2017.

Have you ever bought from Loft before? I find that they tend to run a size bigger. Pre pregnancy I was a 6 at Gap, J. Crew, etc. and wore a 4 at Loft. So definitely don't size up... I would say either your normal size or *maybe* size down, but I think I could have worn a 4 or a 6.

I love LOFT! But do you know if their maternity stuff is sized like their regular stuff? I feel like their sizing is all over the place.
  • LOFT runs true to size for me - I just buy maternity in my pre-pregnancy size.
  • Woohoo! Just got a bunch of stuff from Loft. Thanks @pinottoparenthood - I just ordered those corduroys!

@sarahufl Loft always runs  a size big for me. I am a 6 most places but a 4 at Loft. I ordered the maternity cords in a 4 and they fit great, but I do wonder if I should have sized up (to my normal size everywhere else) to ensure it fits for 9 months?
