2 WW Betas Week of 11/2

Hi Everyone! Thought I would start a group for those ladies with 2WW the week of 11/2. I'm having my IUI this afternoon and my beta test is scheduled for 11/6. Please join in if you want some company/encouragement during the wait!! Ah it will go by so sloowwwww but I'm going to try to stay busy!

I hope it's ok if I join even though I don't have a beta scheduled! I triggered on Sunday and am currently 1dpo so by 11/3 it will be the end of my TWW! We are doing ti so re wants me to do a hpt then call if any news! @mskeenan and @agriffin92013 hope your IUI's went well

looks like we are in this TWW together. Doing anything special to stay busy?!

Of course @emgem819 thanks for joining us!! My IUI was a little rough today-I had to wait 2 hours for the doctor and the nurse wouldn't let me pee because she said I needed a full bladder! It was brutal. But I'm glad its over with!! Yay for the 2WW!

Luckily I have a lot going on the next couple of weeks... a friend's birthday party this Friday, another friend's birthday party the 30th, a Halloween party and a wedding! I feel like I will be distracted (hopefully) so that will be nice. I'm also going to plan on watching a lot of Netflix to chill out and get some massages What about you??? Good luck to you!!!

Wow @mskeenan you do sound really busy so I think you'll be fine! Lots of parties it seems but I suppose it is getting to be that season:) I hope you enjoy all your events! I am going to Stowe, Vermont for the weekend with my some good friends and their hubbies for a romantic getaway so it'll be nice for us to relax and see some nice foliage. And yes with Halloween coming I have to go to a work party but have no idea what I'll dress as yet! I guess I have a little time right?

Sorry to hear you had to wait awhile for your IUI...I didn't know you had to have a full bladder. At least it's over with now and it was for a good cause! The things we do...

@emgem819 everything went ok. I'm more crampy this time than the last 2. Having to keep the full bladder sucks. The nurse asked me how I felt yesterday and I told her I was about to pee my pants lol. Welcome it will be good to have cycle buddies. We really don't have anything planned. Have my stepdaughter this weekend so that will keep my mind off of the wait for a little bit. Have fun in Vermont.

@Mskennan glad we got through our IUIs. You have a busy weekend ahead. Have fun

Hi Ladies! I hope it's OK that I join. I am hopefully scheduled for my IUI tomorrow or Saturday. I went in for BW and an US yesterday and have a 22 mm follicle. I am going back tomorrow for more BW and another US since it seems like I am not quite ready to ovulate and I will be able to have a clearer picture tomorrow.

I absolutely hate the TWW so I welcome all distractions!

@emgem819 that sounds lovely ! I've never been to Vermont but have heard it's beautiful ! I'm in Texas and our fall has yet to start its just hot, humid and rainy ! Fall foliage sounds amazing and romantic ! I hope you have a wonderful time !!

@agriffin92013 glad it went well for you ! I'm with you on the cramping . I'm cramping a lot this morning . I hope that's normal !! Have fun with your stepdaughter this weekend !!

I'm with you I hate the tww but on the bright side I kind of look forward to it because I don't have to go in for bloodwork and us for two whole weeks . I'm over the doctors office at this point !!

I finally found a discussion I can participate in! At least I think so... I have been lurking on forums for days and I have been obsessing over everything, but happy there is a board for everything.

I am current 2dpo. I have had a few monitored cycles but this is the first one where we are doing a medicated and monitored cycle (Clomid) so I feel like this is our first real cycle TTC. For me, the 2WW is actually 16 days because my fertility specialist (NP not RE) wants me to wait until 11/5. Like @mskeenan , I am trying so hard to keep busy and book lots of lunches and happy hour plans. Our 2nd anniversary is on 11/2 and I am so bummed I won't know if I am pregnant or not. How fun would that have been to tell my DH on our anniversary? At least I can drink wine. We did a trigger shot though and I don't want to risk the BFP that turns into a BFN. The last time I was convinced I was pregnant was devastating.

I look forward to following your stories!

@emgem819 - I think we are on the same schedule! I will just have to wait two extra painstaking days to find out.

I am still learning all the lingo and it definitely felt strange using it!

Hi everyone, didn't do IUI but IVF . Hope I can join..I just had my embryo transfer today.

@agriffin92013 glad you made it through your iui although it sounded a bit uncomfortable. That's funny you told the nurse you were about to pee your pants! We have my husbands son this wknd as well...he's 9. As much as I love spending time with him, I can't help but wish for the real deal, my own child.
@TennisCourt so glad to have you join! Glad to hear we are on the same schedule:). I could really use someone to compare symptoms with and do the countdown together! Happy early anniversary...I hope you enjoy that wine and who knows a few days later you could be getting good news:)
@erica0901 welcome and hope you can join us in the 2ww soon! 22mm follicle would probably be enough for me (doing ti) but maybe they wait for more to grow with iui until you can ovulate?
@daisygrl007 we'd love for you to join! GL to you on your ivf. Is it your first? Doing anything during the TWW that will distract you?!

I know what you mean. I tried to explain that to ppl who say why are you trying so hard since he has a daughter. It's not the same. Even though I treat her as my own she will never see me as her mom.

@agriffin92013 you are so so right! It's nice to hear someone else with the same feelings for a change. My step-son is very sweet and I have a great relationship with him, but I'll always just be his dad's wife. My DH doesn't even understand really...I mean he gets that I want to try hard and have a child but since he already has one it's not as important to him.

Update: Went in for IUI this morning, I was/am actively ovulating and DH had 110 million sperm post wash!!

Hi ladies! Hope it's ok if I join in. We did IUI on 10/18 after follistim injectables. I am in my TWW and supposed to do a HPT on 11/1. This TWW has been awful so far full of worrying. My husband and I lost our first baby at 16 weeks back in May. I have PCOS so it took us just under 2 years to get pregnant with our daughter. Once we got help from a fertility specialist we were pregnant after the first cycle of follistim.

I'm definitely a nervous mess and needing some distractions! Any encouraging words would be much appreciated!

Sounds like you can have hope since the follitism worked but I hope they will be monitoring you closely if you get a BFP. Have faith that you will get your healthy baby soon. Hey ladies hope you don't mind if I join in on the thread. We had our IUI this morning and so the 2WW starts !!! This is our 5th IUI or maybe 6th lost count at this point hehe hopefully it goes by quickly, I am a nurse so the days go by fast but as soon as I'm home I start overthinking every single symptom ugh I have unexplainable infertility which makes it so much worse there isn't a true reason why all of this is not working, and I swear everyone around me is pregnant!!! Thanks ladies

Did any of you take a trigger shot? Are you testing it so it's out of your system? I kind of want to test but it's way too early (7dpt5dpo) and I think I'm just also thinking of any excuses to test lol! So hard to resist!

@Menka15 thanks for joining us! Sorry to hear you've been through so many unsuccessful IUI's but maybe this could be the one! I hear ya on the symptom spotting...I have to keep reminding myself to stop obsessing;)

@emgem819 I used a trigger shot but haven't tested. Last month I tested at 9dpiui and it was negative

@emgem819 I soooo wanted to do the same thing and test out. I mentioned that to my fertility specialist and she told me just to wait. It is a painfully long wait, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Those little sticks can certainly mess with your heart strings. Let us know if you decide to try it!

@tenniscourt i agree i probably shouldn't have tested but I couldn't wait and last night I POAS. I got a negative so I guess that means the trigger is out BUT I'm trying not to read into much else than that since not sure if it could also mean I'm not pregnant. I'm 7dpt5dpo. You are so right...the tests have a way of messing with your heart strings!

Hi ladies,
I'm in my TWW now - had my IUI on 10/26 and my beta is scheduled for 11/9 (the day before my birthday!) Starting progesterone tonight, and praying hard. I know this is probably unhealthy for me mentally, but I've been obsessing over browsing baby gear online! Somehow it helps me stay positive, even though I know my chances are slim. Pinterest is my constant 2ww companion! Lol!

GL @ErikaMG we are rooting for you! I haven't done baby gear browsing yet but now that's a great idea...I may have to do the same! I was obsessed with Pinterest when planning my wedding so why not go back?!

@agriffin92013 nervous here too. Feel like I'm symptom spotting but trying not to. Not many symptoms though so starting to have doubts about positive results. Next step is iui which would be oop so that's something we really can't afford right now so I'd be out for awhile until we can save some $$.

Haha! I confess I have a private "fantasy registry" on Pinterest. Noone can see it but me, and I figure that if I get a bfp I can just turn it into a shareable registry!
