  • You know your body better than anyone. If you feel concerned, call or see your OB. I would wait and see if anything gets more intense but that's just me. Contact your OB if you are worried though.

I'd call your OB to make sure. I've had similar issues for about two weeks now and mine said that it can be normal and suggested taking in more fiber (metamusil etc), so I wouldn't get too worried. On the other hand given your history and other signs, it sounds like it's worth asking about.
  • The concern I would have would be dehydration, which can make the Braxton hicks worse.. I had a bout with it during 2nd trimester and my Dr said to take Immodium and stay hydrated. Hope you feel better soon.
  • I had that issue yesterday. However, I'm getting over a cold, and I even had this issue pre pregnancy when it came to getting over an illness. I was told to take in a little more fiber, calcium, etc. I've noticed my normal, every day craving of either pickel juice or chocolate milk, has helped calm down my constant run to the bathroom because of the...as I call it all "The get up and runsies". Lol! But it varies for other women. But if you are worried, I suggest you call your OB, and see what they say. But I agree with the PP. Dehydration is a major concern here.
  • Every time I have BH contractions, my insides liquefy. There is no cute way to say this, because that's exactly what happens. I spend hours being violently ill as if I have a horrible stomach virus. Unfortunately, that would happen to me for the 3 days before my period every month as well, so it wasn't incredibly surprised. Stay hydrated, eat fiber, and talk to your OB if you're concerned - like PP said, you know your body and it's better to be safe than sorry.
