My little guy has been rolling to his side from his back so much lately. He's never rolled all the way over yet. He's getting really fast at getting onto his side though, so cute! He's 16 weeks. Love the roly poly babies!
LO loves to go side to side but no interest in rolling over.
When we put her on her tummy, she puts her arms and legs up in the air... Like she's pretending to be an airplane. Sigh. It's hilarious but she's never gonna get herself from tummy to back!

Mine does this. Like he's belly surfing or swan diving. After a while he gets pissed off tho and starts to squirm. Its going to be the pissed off squirming that gets him over, I'm thinking
Mine has rolled over a couple of times but really has no interest in that- she wants to crawl! She tries to scoot forward and gets mad when she goes no where.
Yup this is us! She really doesn't engage her arms at all. No rolling here, either way or onto sides! She's a big girl, though, so that's not helping LOL
My lo just started to roll both ways also loves her side and turns her sleep around while on the playmat I'm very afraid of crawling baby. We one have not baby proofed and 2 are lazy and leave stuff out. It's gonna be a pretty interesting adventure.
Yay! LO rolled from belly to back twice yesterday at 16 weeks. Funny thing is, he been trying to roll from back to belly for a while, but when he finally rolls, it's the other way. Too funny, such is life kiddo!
These babies change so fast. LO rolls both ways now and within the last week I can tell its with some major purpose. Now if I lay her on her blanket where we have toys scattered she'll zero in on one and roll in its direction - pretty neat! I feel like I can see her learning and problem solving sometimes and it's so fascinating.
@MurLindzz She is trying to roll anywhere we put her! There is no more room for error assuming she won't travel. I got home from work a few hours ago and I usually put her on her back in the middle of our bed while I change right beside the bed. Today I put her down and she immediately flopped over to her belly and then another roll to her back going further away. That was the first real series of rolls I've seen. Instead of feeling proud I thought - crap!! You can't be trusted! Haha
Belly to back like a champ, but only just now trying out back to belly. He'll pull on the sides of him play mat until he gets mostly on his side and then flop over. He scares himself every time.
He still sleeps like a vampire. Arms to his side. Straight body. No movement until he's awake. It's terrifying.
LO just flipped onto her belly! I missed it because I was distracted by a movie. She did do it a few more times though. But she couldn't remember how to roll back the other way apparently. Ha.
L/o has been rolling back to belly for awhile but has zero interest in getting back to her back. She loves being on her belly. I put her on her back one morning while fixing her bottle and she accidentally rolled over in a fit of rage (I freaking missed it too!). She realized that she loves being on her belly and rolls over immediately on any surface but her activity mat, that she'll lay on her back to play for awhile. She does scoot around once on her belly though b/c I've found her about 3 feet away from where I laid her one afternoon.
Still not rolling either way at 20 weeks. She does scoot forward while on her belly and I know that's developmentally appropriate so maybe she just thinks rolling is for chumps...
TTC: 1/2014
BFP: 9/24
EDD: 6/8/2015
Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.

Same here! Uses legs to scoot, will rock side to side, but no rolls yet, at 20 weeks.
We are not even close. 21 weeks I think. Not much scooting either. He's almost sitting now that he spends time in a clip on chair on our kitchen island but he's not of the floor on his tummy much. Still hates it. He's just too fat for rolling!
Ours just rolled from tummy to back a couple days ago, yay! I was worried I'd miss it or that my husband would miss it, or that I wouldn't be able to take a photo bc my phone memory is full (I know I need to move photos over..for now I just delete old stuff I don't need to take new photos and videos..I'll get there eventually).. Anyway..she decided to roll while we were both there and while we were having photos taken! So we were both there, we've got pictures, plus she was wearing a tutu and pearls
LO rolled from front to back last night on her activity mat! DH was out getting dinner so he missed it. I didn't tell him, but I CAN tell you all!
I think it was very accidental and she was just really mad about being on her tummy. Hoping for a repeat when dad is around too. Also to verify I wasn't imagining it.
DD has been rolling from back to belly the past two days! She gets her arm stuck most of the time, but she's figuring that out. Still hasn't rolled much from belly to back for a few weeks. She's 16 weeks
Just found LO on her belly hanging out in her pack n play. She was doing great...until she started to cry and couldn't flip back over the other way. Makes me a little concerned if she does it in her crib. I guess I would hear her though.
Hey ladies!

So the best part? I get home today and DH is all, "PS baby rolled from belly to back". Like it was no big deal. I then furiously responded, "well she actually did it yesterday and I just didn't tell you!"
My little dude is 18 weeks and STILL not rolling in any direction. He's hated tummy time since day one and its always a battle. I know he will roll when he's ready, he might not ever roll at all! My grandma said my father didn't roll once. She would set him on his back and he wouldn't budge till he was old enough to crawl.
I need to go with the flow.. But secretly hoping it happens soon.
LO only rolls from back to belly and then gets stuck... It's funny to watch her try and roll... As for belly to back... That usually doesn't happen until 5 or 6 months so we will see ....
@mellymar We certainly think so! I actually missed it, MOTY. She was SO close but I had to run into the kitchen to take something out of the oven and didn't want to interrupt her momentum. I specifically asked her not to do it while I was gone lol came back and she was on her back.
My LO is a great listener! He even talks to me, no one else can understand him but me, he really is speaking to me with real words, so we have great communication, although he didn't listen to me today when I said he shouldn't scream in his car seat, so he's grounded
@HayesRN13 I am so relieved to hear other moms are grounding their LOs.... It really is never too young to start teaching appropriate behaviors... Just yesterday I had to really set my foot down when she cried during dinner.
@lovethatcolosun I don't know about that GIF. Looks like more like in your face fatties than yeah LO! My fatty said to tell your LO =D> He's also not talking yet, just signing.

She's 20.5 weeks.
