So are they only supposed to induce if something is wrong? My ob scheduled me for induction my 39th week because she'll be out of town thanksgiving weekend when I'm due and she said if I want her to tie my tubes and circumcise the baby it has to be done a week before.
No, for the induction question. I've been at 39 weeks with my past two pregnancies bc legally they can induce then and my dr knows my babies tend to be somewhat big. Seems like your dr just wants to make sure they are able to deliver you.
