Is this thirst normal?

Hi everyone, I am 6 weeks today and I am so thirsty! My mouth feels so dry. I drink water all day long. I finally looked it up, and of course, since it's the internet, it said that "extreme thirst could be a sign of a complication." However, it went on to say that you should really look into it if your urine is very dark. Mine is clear as water! I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this as well. I've actually heard that 'excess saliva' was a symptom of pregnancy, so this is particularly confusing! I know everyone is different and all that. Anyone else experiencing thirst/dry mouth? Thanks!

I'm more thirsty than normal. I don't remember being as thirsty when I was pregnant with my first. I don't think it's a problem though (I haven't researched it or anything, I just hadn't really thought of it that way).
Edited to add - I'm 5 weeks tomorrow.

I found somewhere that said that increased thirst was normal as long as it subsided by the end of the first trimester and your urine wasn't super dark every time you peed despite the amount of water you were taking in. Your blood volume increases by up to 40% during pregnancy. During the first trimester, you make the plasma to carry the extra red blood cells and plasma is a lot water. I sure hope it's normal, I'm going in to the doctor for a second beta draw and plan to double check but I have found sources saying that thirst in the first tri is normal.
