Also love this article. I think it's so important for us as parents of newborns to remind ourselves of where they are developmentally. I personally feel much more compassionate and less frustrated with my LO when I remember he is just adjusting to a world of senses and sensory objects to process where before he had next to none. While feeling a chill or a hunger pain to me is very easy to tolerate and fix to him it's completely new and overwhelming. Also, how can my heart not melt every time I read that babies think they are one with their moms? Ugh, so adorable.
